If Peterik was back.

How quick do you think a new Survivor cd would drop if they buried the bullshit and gave the fans what we all want ? Look at the great work ASIA has done and is still doing . What would it take for one last shot ? Everybody on here really wants a new cd and it's weird. Jamison does Crossroads Moment and Extra Moments with Peterik and it seemed like nobody really got into it . Then Jamison tours the world over playing all the songs we all really love and releases yet 2 more products in Kimball / Jamison including music videos and One Man's Trash where Jamison co-wrote the whole cd .

Seems like the finished product doesn't match the energy and dreams of the fans . Weird eh ? Would a new cd really matter anymore ?

I am so impressed with the new ASIA promotion etc. I just don't know why they don't do something now with such a light schedule . At least 1 song so we can download it and rip it on a cd ..

I think that a lot of us (definitely myself) love the Crossroads Moment CD!

I honestly believe that if Sullivan and Peterik would put aside their differences, that they would come up with one of the better Survivor albums of their careers, and that it wouldn't take long at all.

I think everyone would love to see these two back together with JJ but I, for one, have given up hope on that. There seems to be too much bad blood to ever see them together as a team again. They are getting on in age and I've moved on from the idea because, honestly, it's just too frustrating to hold out for such a reunion. I think you've just got two super talents that just don't see eye to eye anymore, if they ever did...

I'm like an alcoholic trying hard to recover. "Hi, my name is Joseph and I'm a Survivor fan. It's been twenty years since my last truly happy Survivor moment..."

We're like the old high school ball players content (?) to sit around a bar table and relive the old days but never quite able to capture that former magic.

Ah, well.

I think that Crossroads Moment is VERY close to a Survivor cd. Put Frankie Sullivan on guitar and take out a few of the more Pride of Lions-ish sounding songs and you're pretty much there.

As far as the other cds go, I don't think anyone was expecting major sales for the Extra Moments cd. It was simply put out for the fans using the stuff that was rejected or demos for Crossroads Moment.

Kimball/Jamison and One Man's Trash weren't really likely to sell well--at least in the US. Heck, to the best of my knowledge, they haven't even been released here. Either way, as much as Survivor is simply a footnote, and Jamison solo is an unknown quantity. His profile is somewhat higher in Europe/UK, so that's the market for those cds.

Jimi Jamison must have retained the rights to his When Love Comes Down cd. It is available at most download sites now.

I would say Jamison has a unique collection of material available . It is too bad so many years in the 90's were lost with that voice but he has been working hard to keep his profile up.

1. When Love Comes Down
2. Empires
3. Crossroads Moment
4. Extra Moments
5. Kimball -Jamison
6. One Man's Trash
7. One Night In Weston (The Search Is Over- High On You ) Live
8. I'm Always Here ( Live )

Also a bunch of other singles available . All for download .

There are some nice songs on CM, but JP while a great talent does not know when to quit sometimes. I find some of it cheesy and kitschy. I would prefer a little more restraint at times. It's just too much. I love Survivor not Meat LOAF! Now having said that, my favorite song on CM is Alive. That song is a very strong effort from JJ.
