I'd love for them to do this. They could find a guitarist to replace Frankie. I nominate Al Pitrelli-- he definitely has the chops and can churn out some great 80s style guitar solos.
As long as JP can tone down the cheese factor a bit, it could end up being a great album. They could call it "Life After Death", in reference to Survivor's death.
