Hey everyone.. I'm new here to the site..

Someone on youtube posted a video of a recent Survivor Show w/Cameron on vocals... here's the link..

It's a nice coverband! This video shows how important a singer is for a band, Robin McAuley couldn't fill the shoes and Cameron can't also.
For a coverband they play very decent although I think it's not a oiled band.
This is a band that's called Survivor but probably one of the worst versions ever!
Cameron has a good sense of humor with on his shirt the initials DB, funny!

Singer just does his job and that's a problem, bass is fine, can't hear enough of keyboard to say anything(not a critic), coverband level drumming.

Never heard any coverband here performing other Survivor song than EOTT and BH, but they usually do better than this.

This IS absolutely the worst version of "Survivor" ever!

I bet no producer would want to work in a studio with this incarnation of the band...I know I've said that a 100 times, but without Marc the groove is totally lacking. Cameron is a nice guy, for sure talented and I wish him the best, but it's clear he can't elevate the songs this is like a "Broadway" version of what Survivor used to be

There seems to be a copyright infringement claim on that video by Rude Music, Inc. - owned by none other than Frankie Sullivan. He must know it's awful, too. Otherwise, why stop free advertising...

I know of two Survivor shows in the past that were booked because of me personally. In both cases I talked the promoter into booking Survivor even though they were against it. Both shows wound up having a good turn-out, and the promoters thanked me for it.
I will no longer be doing anything to help get Frankie And The Franklinites booked anywhere.

He must have read our comments up here. Or the ones below the video, if any. But again, what's the point? I feel sorry for CB, he's so young and having to cope with FS too early in his life.

Nevermind. Was able to see a video on Dave's FB. I have to say, the kid can sure sing. But this isn't Survivor. I'm hoping Dave and Jim can get together sometime soon and do an album.

Yoda they basically played the Jimi's hits plus EOTG, with in between a 15 min waste of time unfortunately. CB can sing and will improve also, but all us fans want to see Dave up there on stage

I agree with you on wanting to see Bickler. Survivor is one of those bands that is similar to Van Halen, in that they had two great front men who you could identify as the voice of Survivor. To see Bickler get kicked to curb is confusing to me.

Bickler and Jamison were both equally "The voice of Survivor."
The current version of "Survivor" is missing their voice.

I remember being a little disappointed & confused back in the 90s when I went to what was called a "Survivor" concert, and it turned out to just be Jimi with a bunch of people I'd never heard of.

Now, though, I'd prefer to see that line-up over the so-called real Survivor.
