Survivor Covers

I see that Ronnie Romero is covering Survivor’s ‘Backstreet Love Affair’ on his forthcoming covers album ‘Raised On Radio’.
What other covers of Survivor songs are out there?

Tommy Shaw covered Ever Since The World Began.

I've heard at least two covers of The Search Is Over used on TV shows.

The Beat Street Band covered both EOTT and Burning Heart.

There are countless covers of EOTT by many different performers.

Check out this cover of ‘I See You In Everyone’ by an artist called Riddle The Sphinx:

They’ve certainly made it their own!

Wow lucky Phil, never knew about this song! I think it's fantastic how they made it their own and even in this version you can hear the quality of the song.
Thanks a lot for letting us know this version!

Yes it’s almost unrecognisable as the same song!

Another interesting cover is Gloria Gaynor’s version of Eye Of The Tiger done in a soul style: https://open.spotify.com/track/2fdZNGKv ... pvlM66jL_A

Here's a list of all the Survivor covers I can find. I've gone for studio versions only and excluded the 3 big hits EOTT, BH & TSIO as there are so many covers of those songs it's too time consuming to come up with a definitive list.

ACROSS THE MILES
Uriah Heep
Jim Peterik’s Lifeforce

BACKSTREET LOVE AFFAIR
Ronnie Romero

CAUGHT IN THE GAME
Bonfire

DESPERATE DREAMS
Find Me

DIDN’T KNOW IT WAS LOVE
Perfect Plan
ZAR

EVER SINCE THE WORLD BEGAN
Jimi Jamison
Dave Bickler
Tommy Shaw
Rizza Navale

HIGH ON YOU
Jim Peterik

I CAN’T HOLD BACK
Jim Peterik

I SEE YOU IN EVERYONE
Riddle The Sphinx

IS THIS LOVE
Jim Peterik

MAN AGAINST THE WORLD
Bells and Ravens

MOMENT OF TRUTH
Mari Hamada
Carrie Underwood

REBEL GIRL
The Outlaws

REBEL SON
Liberty n' Justice

ROCKIN’ INTO THE NIGHT
.38 Special
Ron Keel Band
Prophesied Gnar

VELOCITIZED
Mecca

WHAT DO YOU REALLY THINK?
Scherer/Batten

Has anyone got any more to add?

Kevin Chalfant should have took over after Jimi's death, maybe we would get new songs.

No, because there's only one person holding up Survivor.

Frankie Sullivan should try to make amends with Jim Peterik and get Survivor back together with a lineup of........

Dave Bickler: Lead Vocals.
Frankie Sullivan: Guitar.
Jim Peterik: Keyboards and Guitar.
Marc Droubay Drums.

If Bickler isn't able to handle all of the lead vocals, then try to get Kevin Chalfant to be a co-lead-vocalist.

Get one of Bill Syniar, Billy Ozello, Barry Dunaway, Klem Hayes or Dennis Keith Johnson on Bass.

I know that that will never happen because Sullivan is either to arrogant, too lazy or too stupid to do that? He can take his pick as to which of those three things that he is?

Neal Schon continues to build upon his legacy to this day and proves that he has continued to grow as a guitarist to this day.
Frankie Sullivan is too lazy to do the same.

No one wants to work with Frankie. He could make overtures to anyone (which he won't do), but no one wants to work with Frankie, period.

He's arrogant and thoroughly difficult to just deal with.

Ronnie Romero has just covered Backstreet Love Affair on his new record. Do not overly enjoy it.

There's no excuse for Sullivan to not at the very least release a solo album.
