Jimi's Target

Postby Abitaman » Thu Sep 02, 2004 7:43 pm

Back in the late 80's and early 90's Jimi J. was playing local fairs with a group called Target. I saw them 3 different years at the Dyersburg TN fair, which was no to far from his old home town of Union City. I remeber one year he even promoted his new solo cd "When Love Comes Down" (not a bad cd). Target had nothing that stood out about them, other than having Jimi in the group. But my question is, did Target ever release a cd, or do they have any bootleg music out there? Let me know-ERIC

Target released a self titled debut album and a second album called "Captured."

I have both albums on DUBBED cassettes since I wasn't able to find originals.

Then one day I came across a signed vinyl of the first album, so I snagged that.

Yes he's on both CD's.

Sorry, but I'm not interested in a trade.

Man, it took me long enough to find the LP, and as I said, the cassettes are dubs.

HI GANG!

JIMI'S former band is very cool...something like 1970's bad company but more blusey feel..very good, surprising..if you only like that polished survivor sound u won't like this release much..but to rock fans and fans of survivors more rockin, adventerous music, this will be a nice addition if you can find it!! lol

both are long long out of print.

cheers n beers,

chi-town crazy marty the rock  8) [/b]
