Do I hear a call from a late night show like Letterman to Survivor after this?

In regards to those who hates Frankie... let me ask you a question. Can you imagine a Survivor song without his guitar? It'd be like Van Halen without Ed himself..

I haven't seen a person here who hates Frankie anyway.

JoPa I love you. I don't think you hate Frankie, but I think all the Frankie bashing on the board is a bit rediculous. I agree with you that at times we have been let down by this band in the past. We can either live in the Jamo past or move onto the Robin future. I choose the latter.

It's 8:15 EST right now... I'm going to pick up my car with my new Alpine stereo woo hoo!

Show starts at 9. Hopefully I'll be back in time. I have the DVD-R set though. :)

Survivorfan2005 don't you have in on good authority that a new album is in the works? August maybe?

YAY!!! I was out picking up my stereo, so I missed the live performance, but I DVD-R'd it and let me say...

WOW! They've still got it! What a tight band. I loved Frankie and Marc! I am going to warm up to Robin if it's the last thing I do. LOL It's not easy because he's no Jimi, but HE IS GOOD, and that is not an easy song to sing.

The crowd went wild. Did you see? It was a great song for the Paso Doble and you could tell the dancers liked dancing to it. I'm so pleased!!

OH One more thing that cracked me up...

When Samantha Harris announced them she said something like "Grammy winners and fresh off their North American Tour..."

ROFL! Fresh off a tour, indeed! But I guess it's true, in a way. :)

Nothing like a little push to show the band is actually STILL around, albeit having a singer Most audiences probably won't recognize. Really happy for Frankie and gang. Can't wait to see it if possible. :D

BTW, they said similarly when Pet Shop Boys performed some months back. "time off from their North American Tour to perform..."
