I know what your saying. It's a shame that the Beetles never really caught on with very many people. :P

Well, if they hadn't named themselves after The Beatles - the greatest band in history - they would have been better off.
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

Okay having mocked Survivor here to a certain degree. Are there any Beatles influences in Survivor songs? On both Cheap Tricks "Rockford" and Leppard's "Songs From The Sparkle Lounge" there are Beatles sounding tunes.

Even though I know that that was a joke on the Anchorman Soundtrack, I would agree whole heartedly that Survivor are better than the 2 other bands. I do like the Beatles, but I friggin hate the Rolling Stones.

Speaking of Rolling Stones, can anyone here name a tune they did, which Survivor later did with the exact same name? Obviously Survivor's "insert song name here" is WAAAY better than the Stones "insert song name here". 8) Let me clearly state that Survivor's song is not a remake of the Stone song. Just to make sure no one misunderstands that.

That's an easy one. It's "Brown Sugar." The Survivor song of the same name was originally released on their 5-disc Box Set titled "In My Dreams."

Honestly, I don't have any idea.

OK, here's a fairly easy one....

Whitesnake have done 2 songs that have the same title as 2 of Survivor's songs. Name them. One of them is extremely easy to get.

The Stones have a song called "It's The Singer Not The Song?" I did not know that.

Yes, I love the Survivor song of that title, it's one of my favorites from Vital Signs.

The Stones sure did. Its from the album "December's Children - 1965)/ I accidentally found out about it, while searching for some info. on ITSNTS. A website brought me to the Stones tune and I was like "Whaaa?" The same album that gives you "As tears go by" which incidentally is a great tune imo.

J/S glad we agree on ITSNTS. For some reason it is not a fav. from people I know (make me wonder why, but anyway). But atleast there's two of us

8)

But I must be very frank. The song is actually titled "Singer Not The Song", but MJ sings it "(It's) The Singer, Not the Song". Maybe I cheated
