Looks like tour dates keep on pouring down!! I must admit I can't make up my mind as to which Survivor show I'll be attending this summer...

I was still in my 30's the last time someone had posted in the Survivor forum on here. I'm in my 40's now.

It's hard to get excited when there is zip, nada, nothing to talk about. I was a huge cheerleader and even I am out enthusiasm. We had the big announcement when? Last Oct-Nov? I thought there was going to be a bigger commitment to connect with fansl

Hopefully they will play more dates. Jimi has been playing non stop all over the world . All the shows seem to have huge crowds. In the USA they will play probably outdoor fest and small casino venues. Hopefully Jamo's voice holds up well . Peterik seemed to have the knack for bringing out the best in his voice. Too bad they can't throw us fans a bone with a new tune.

Jamo has been working hard to build up his name as a solo performer. I really can't see Survivor doing anything big anymore. The splash and sizzle seems to have worn off on all us fans before it has even started back up.

Im with Slander, Nov was the announcement, and now?....There's up to a point to believe, "no news is good news" . Riiiight.

Sorry the Survivor name is bigger than JJ. Has always been and always will be. I for one am thrilled Jamison is doing great work overseas, having said that I for one wish they wouldn't have gotten back together if they are only going to do a handful of dates. What is the point? When the announcement was made I was concerned that this reunion was out of convenience. I fear I'm being proven right. It may be time to move on.

I wanted to raise the discussions again...I'm so disappointed and wanted to share this with you all. What was the point in announcing the "reunion" thing?

I believe they'll play more dates this year than they have in a long while. Early indicators show dates starting to appear...

I'm not quite ready to give up yet. I think they got at least one more good album in them and I think now is the time for them to do it. I'm pessimistic we'll see it in 2012, though, if their tour schedule picks up.

I sure hope you are right Joe, but the best predictor of the future is the past! We don't have anything to go on.

Walter Tolentino former founder of the band Strangeway. Notice he came down from the keyboaards. Pretty cool. Eh?

Performance quite good. JJ was great and band seemed quite excited.

I don't want to turn this into a Frankie Sullivan bashing thread.

But here's something that annoys me...

I had heard many years ago that the reason Jim Peterik had left Survivor was because he wanted to play more guitar in the band again, but that Frankie wouldn't let him.

Since then, it has been said that Peterik wanted to do more lead vocals in Survivor again, but that Frankie wouldn't allow it.

Now, I agree that Peterik should NOT be the only lead vocalist in Survivor. He's a good singer, but he couldn't do justice to the lead vocals of Jamison and Bickler.

However, I could see him wanting to sing one or two songs on each new album, that is if there ever is another new Survivor album.

But after refusing to allow Peterik to play more guitar in the band, Sullivan is having the new keyboardist play some guitar in concert. And Sullivan sang the lead vocals on two songs on the Reach album.

If the relationships in the band right know work, that's fine with me. Obviously there was an ego problem when Peterik was in. I prefer to have a band instead

Anyone knows what was the attendance at the Allen?
