LOL, my 2 favorite parts of this post: a typically backhanded slap at Andrew and a Freudian slip.

No backhanded slap at Andrew at all. Love the work he does. I was referring to this bb in particular not the MR board as whole. And no freudian slip. We all know the band is working on new music. JV is involved. There are pics etc. You are in more denial than Baghdad Bob during shock and awe!

Yes Freudian slip. Look what you typed before the word "music."
Means you KNOW it's very tentative.

I have to ask you jrnyman. Who is the girl in your quotes? Wow. I thought it was Elisabeth Cuthbert at first.

Axe made a claim Reach was a pile of shite and Frontiers lost money. I merely asked him to give me the numbers and he went silent. Talking out of your ass as is when you make a statement of fact and can't back it up. Then he goes onto rip on JV. I'm sorry but Vana's opinion carries a hell of a lot more weight. If I'm getting info from sources I'm going to a player on the team not some ****stick that can't get a ticket to the game.

Afterall she should know his schedule...........She books it. As for slander's comments concerning mine about reach........I wouldn't tell you how I know anyway so why ask? I won't post anything like that again.........I got my point across. I'm just sick and tired of his tired, worn out act. Nobody knows anything, no one is credible unless he deems them so, and such. I'm tired of a wanna be telling me how smart he is and dumb I am. Not to mention the cute little subtle swipes at Jim, Jimi and you, I don't care how much or often he soft sells it or backpeddles....they are what they are. As to your pm to me a week ago I would suggest you look very carefully at that question.....my feelings are that the subject matter sways whichever way is most benificial. If you don't understand what I'm saying...pn me again.

JV .....I can only guess, but if past history holds suit.......Kev will do 4 or 5 songs, then Jimi will come out and do 4 or 5, then back to Kevin and then back to Jimi. Truthfully tho I'm not sure. Material would be both I'd think or hope due to new album to promote.

Wow Axe. Gay and bodily fluid jokes. You think of those all by yourself while your computer was getting FIXED? What's wrong no fart jokes at your disposal? This is another one of those great posts that RED refers to. Then again some people find Pauly Shore and Carrot Top funny.
For all your sound and fury you are just an infant in a high chair crying out for attention. You can make all the noise you want but it can not distract from the bs claims you have made. So tell me:

1. How many units did Reach sell? Was it really a pile of shite. I think objectively most of us feel it wasn't Survivor's best record but it was a quality release with some great songs.

2. Where have I ever bashed Peterik? Great Songwriter but everything he turns out isn't great. He's human. I honor Jim by buying his albums. Hell I even bought the Sunstorm projects because he wrote songs on them.

3. Please point out where I bash Andrew. I am thankful for the service and access he provides melodicrock fans like myself. Nuff said. Where did I bash him?

4. I like Jamo and have only been critical of him for what I consider a low rent interview he gave after a show. I bought Crossroads Moments. Solid record glad to see him back on track.

5. Please feel free to point out where I have ripped this bb on the other website? You can't.

By the way for RED and everyone else questioning the use of the word "project." Jamo uses the label to describe CROSSROADS MOMENT in his liner notes! It's under track 6 where he gives us a little history about "Behind The Music."

AXE Glad to see your computer is FIXED! Now you can supply us with more quality posts that make the Survivor BB so quality. Maybe you can share a joke about urinating with all of us.

I've never bashed the MR board. It's bs and I will point that out. The rest of his antics I could careless about.

He's a great poster? Wow what a low bar you have set. The man talks out of his ass. Makes statements without facts all the time.

Hey I realize you're jealous b/c Axe is a better poster who brings better, more objective material than you, and that multuple people here have weighed in with their agreement but keep trying, maybe lose the frankie-centric glasses and MAYbe you'll get to his level.

Okay. Objective? Axe is objective. When you make a statement of fact like Reach lost money and don't bring any facts to the table that's not being objective that's just being stupid. Multiple people have weighed in here? You give this board way too much credit for having a following? If you go back through this thread all I said is I don't care if this new music is project, album, whatever. I'm just glad there is no music.

What board are you talking about if not Andrew's? Some would see this as a slap at Andrew, despite what you may say in fact Andrew himself did as evidence by his reply.

Better yet you provide examples of where I have slammed Peterik or Andrew. Secondly I haven't slighted the Melodicrock board as a whole you simpleton. I have slighted this Survivor board because the only time their is a following is when there are silly arguments. My statement about board was in reference to the participants, not the board itself! Why don't you stick to the potty humor. You are better at that.

Ok let's have some fun.................

1) Last I heard was around 30,000 copies, so coming from a band that went platinum that's quite a fall off. My "objective" opinion has been stated and nothing you can bellow will change that...I'm entitled to it.

2) To me when you claim that it's still survivor, without Jim that is bashing him as if to say they don't need him, when I think we all know that is far from the truth. It is survivor in name only.

3) Answered in previous post......'nuff said.

4) You only bashed Jimi when you decided he gave a low rent interview.........An interview that was given to this site upon which you bashed Andrew for even publishing it. Face it , it cast your idol in a poor light and you didn't think that was fair so you bashed the site and Jimi. Among you comments were ones about how he was just a lowly bartender now, little baby for complaining about his treatment by sullivan, and not much of a man if he couldn't manage to look after his money etc......those may not have been your exact words but the jist is the same.

5) By agreeing with JV and others comments about this site and how no one is going to come here anymore and how it's nothing but a slagfest etc you are bashing this site over there. Maybe not by saying the words, but by your endorsement of them and the post. Surely as a "journalist" you can understand the concept. Not to mention in this very post you again bash this board while exaulting the qualities of the official board in comparision to this one. I've highlighted your words towards the end of your post for you in case you try and backtrack again.

Yes, Jimi did use the word project in the liner notes, but that was also when the album was in it's infancy stages and they were shopping a label.....long before it was made public knowledge that he was working on anything. Once he made it public that he was doing something, it was called a Jimi Jamison solo album. By contrast......the frankie sullivan band has announced(by the man himself) that they are working on a " project". It has become public knowledge and was given out from sullivan himself......big difference in the use of the word. Thus why people are questioning the use of the word...especially for someone who makes Def Leppard look quick.
Wow you just can't go without bashing someone huh?? Now it's Red.......
Andrew.......Don't you think that mr. slander should be reprimanded(if he hasn't already) for his specific mention of another board on here? Like you thought I did?
Oh one last thing....and yes this will be bragging so guilty as "f'n" charged......attention!!! You think I want attention, dude when your name has appeared in the liner notes of albums then come talk to me about attention and wanting it. Until then stay out of the kitchen.
And before you ask.....no I won't tell you what albums so don't ask.

I wanted to stay far away from this, but I was brought into this again.....NOT JUST BY AXE EITHER.....my issues with this board I discuss with Andrew personally...I have known Andrew since 1996, I have supported this site in many many ways....since way before almost every one else was even on here, I even introduced Andrew to alot of artists, even Peterik....my issue are the personal attacks made by people who DO NOT KNOW the person they are talking to yet make disgusting, juvinile personal attacks that they would not make if not for the security of a computer screen....and not just the Survivor board, but all of them....people talk to a webmaster, a roadie, a tech and maybe even an artist after a show and suddenly they are experts....or better yet an email from an artist who speaks only their side no matter how true or false it may be....I have been very careful to only speak publically on here about things I have first hand knowledge on....because gossip and deflammatory language seem to be the flavor of the day on the internet.....the survivorboard OF COURSE is only positive press, and statements...but is run by the band survivor, so it makes sense...plus the people on ther are fans of the band, and have no interest in cutting them down or trying to bully other people on there...MOST artists would never come on here, or anyboard because there is no upside to getting into the war of words that have become the norm......most of my friends stay as far away as possible and some just read but NEVER post....am I an idiot for coming on here? for posting?? I don't know...I certainly do not go on here to vent frustrations, or to say anything to piss anybody off....plus this is Andrews investment and property, and when people say what they do they are a reflection of him....is that fair to him?????

Back to the topic, I think that Crossroad Moment is a pretty good album...It misses the gritty guitar of FS IMO, but these days we take AOR anyway we can get it. Jamison sounds much better than he did on reach, but I would not say it's a better album...

you guys?

JP would never let Jamo out of the studio until he knew he had the best out of Jamo he could get ( I can attest to that personally)....that being said, there is alot of "help" that programs such as elastic, melodyne and autotune can give, but the TONE needs to be there...can't melodyne the grit out of Jamos voice like he had with Reach....with melodyne you can sing a "B" and tune it up to a "C", and the untrained ear would not know!!!!.......however, his voice is WAYYY more pure on this release than on Reach....as far as which is better, well that is all opinion.....JP has a machine type of approach, he works on many projects and products at once....Frankie seems to compartmentalize (how's that word huh?? hahah) and completely immerse himself in a single project...

Just my take.....

JV,

I honestly believe you can hear those differences as well....i mean in the way they work....seems it would proabably be what made them good partners at one time....

But not to get people mad, I don't think a corny disaster like 'rock was king' would ever appear in a FS 'project', at the same time, we get twice as much from JP and don't have to be as picky...

Yes.....I agree, FS would have never been involved with When Rock was King...yikes...and....people on youtube thought they did the tune as a joke, yet they were serious.....I like CM....but that tune?? Holy Crap....
