Vital Signs .... The Greatest melodic rock album????

Postby monster » Sun Sep 04, 2005 8:44 pm

It was about 1985 when a friend bought me the album for a xmas present.
I had seen the video of "I Can`t Hold Back" and thought they had a great sound.

The standout tracks for me are Broken Promises and Everlasting, even though every other song is great.

What an album, it still, in my opinion stands the test of time.

Yeah, great album although in my opinion its very hard to put Survivor albums in any kind of rank order as the quality is so evenly good. Well, maybe the last one “too hot to sleep” is a little bit weaker than the rest of the pack.

Popular Girl smokes, too along with First Night and Broken Promises. All-around a real strong effort and great bow for Jamo as the new singer.

They should've added Moment Of Truth off the Karate Kid sdtk and later appearing on Gr Hts. That would've taken it from a great album to a masterpeice. Also should've added Burning Heart to When Seconds Count.
