Jackie is a great tune, maybe my favorite off of CITG.

Bickler at his most Perry esque too.
"I love almost everybody."---Rocky Balboa 1990
"Let's reform this thing.Let's go out and get some guys who want to work and go do it"--Neal Schon February, 2001
"I looked at Neal, and I just saw a guy who really wants his band back"-JCain 2/01

Jackie was never released as a single (unfortunately). But they had a performance with that song on Solid Gold. Other single's were "I never stopped loving you" in Japan for sure and maybe in the US, "It doesn't have to be this way" and "Slander" were released in Germany.

And I have to agree to Red13. My fav of this Album too.

I think the singles were -

Caught in the Game
I Never Stopped Loving You
It Doesn't Have to Be This Way
Jackie Don't Go

Correct me if I'm wrong! (which I may well be!)

Thanks for that Info Richard. What I don't understand is all that Promo releases. Just for Radiostations to see if they like and played it and then probably to release as an official single?

In fact...I was so determined to make Jackie Don't Go a Hit, I (yes I really did this, I was only about 12!) organized a campaign in my class to have all the kids call in (some several times) to the local radio station and request the song. They did have it and played it a good bit. But I think they finally got so tired of our calls they said the record was lost!

I can also remember always moving the Survivor records to the front of the record sections at wal-mart and k-mart etc....those were the days!

Honestly, I never understood why more people didn't hear what i heard? Loved that band!
