This is true...he said that the song 'reach' had landed a place that would 'blow your mind'...i guess most of us assumed, he didn't mean foreign release....but I was just being fecetious anyways...

I talked to Frankie once about THE MOMENT OF TRUTH. He didn't want to talk about that song. I got the impression it was a nightmare for the band. Bill Conti wrote it.

LOL, still love Frankie's minimal guitars on the track. But you can tell it was a Conti composition for the band to perform.

Not one of my favorites. It's got a big timE CHEESE factor to it. Was it ever played in concert?

BTW, management (Baruck) needs to step up here....this soudntrack slot appears to be circling the drain and it shouldn't.

Actually, I like "The Moment of Truth". I was more referring to some of the other tracks on the record.

Years ago, on the old message board we asked Frankie about that song and I can remember he didn't seem found of doing it. He said - at the time - it was the only non FS, JP song recorded by Survivor and that by looking back it was a mistake.

Promoted properly it could have been a huuuuge hit however....It had a Survivor sound and I liked it...In fact, I can remember hearing it in the trailor of the movie and knowing instantly that it was Survivor....The Soundtrack was pretty hard to find back then as well....But it wasn't a bad song at all...IMO......

Very 80's. I remember I saw it on NIGHT TRACKS. I was sad because I thought Survivor was losing their harder edge.

Don't you think that pretty much anything post CITG (and some of that) through WSC from Survivor was VERY 80's....but they shouldn't appologize for that...hell...it was the 80's....

oh yeah, I remember Night Tracks. Didn't have cable like my friends who got to watch MTV so had to stay up late and watch that. Those were the days! Hard to believe MTV is what it is today. Thank god for VH1 Classic.
