If that is positive????

I myself did not go but a friend did. He said Robin McCauley told the crowd he has louder farts than the audience.

Sounds better than the last time I saw them...I'd rather hear him fart that JJ crackle like he did that day...And it beats the one I saw, as it appears there was more of a crowd than one person

You are a very positive person. Better to see the glass half full rather than half empty, ehh. That's cool.

You really think there was more people there because RM was singing instead of JJ?

As you can read from the review below noone is perfect.

"High on You" was next with Robin showing a little struggle on some high notes. "

As for the firtst thing, I serioulsy doubt if 10 percent of the people there even knew it was a different lead singer than the guy who sung Eye of the Tigers. I doubt if 10 percent even knew there were ever two Survivor singers, let alone three....

Also, not tyring to put JJ down, I just thing the whole thing had grown stagnet and new energy for both might be a good thing...I would bet money, I would enjoy the JJ Band right now, more than I did Survivor the last time I saw them....

Sometimes, change is what is needed for all parties...

Ya know, I guarantee you that 3/4 of those people there didn't know who is singing lead. They are there to hear songs that they know, like High on You or Eye of the Tiger. Just like the review said about the parents telling their kids this was the band that sang Eye of the Tiger. They don't know that Dave left or JJ left and Dave came back then JJ was in now Robin is lead, blah blah blah. Unless they are true fans of the band, they won't even know that Take you On a Saturday was from Premonition in 81! AS far as they know it's a new song, they just want to hear the songs they know, like the ones that were on the radio. That is why the crowd was quiet during those album songs, not the top 40. I've been to enough concerts to know and I talk to people in the crowd, just to see how knowledgable they are. I see everyone from 10 to 60 at these things enjoying the music, they aren't there saying geez, that guy can't hit the high notes in that song like so and so can, they could care less. It's just the diehard fans that make statements like that and try and compare who is better.

Well you guys are both wrong. Robin told the crowd he was a new lead singer and only lead singer for a couple shows.

yeah..i'm sure he did...and i'd still bet that 90 percent them had no idea what he was talking about or could have cared less....I sent to see Journey a few weeks ago and Jeff Scott Soto sings now for Steve A...They announced it during the show and I bet you that of the 15,000 there...14,000 coudn't have told you that...and that's of the probably 5,000 that even know or care how steve a is....

come on...most people have no idea about the lead singers of Survivor...I bet I don't know two people that could tell you how JJ or Dave are, much less Robin...

You are mostly right, in these type of concerts....free festival type shows.....I bet though that some people left once Robin said he was only the singer for a couple days....if he said nothing it probably would not of been noticed by most. But those paying for a concert will care. Not all, but a larger majority. I can tell you with Journey they knew Steve Perry was not playing at least those that were going because they weren't dragged along. As for Jeff Soto Scott or Steve Augeri....most would not care and I would not care because Steve Augeri never sang a Journey hit. As along as the new guy is credible than it would not matter most to those attending free festival type shows.

I can tell you though I cared. I had a choice Survivor or John Waite. I choose John Waite. And a lot of it had to do with the singer.

I saw John Waite a couple of times with Bad English (which ironically was pretty much the current Journey lineup with Waite) and they were great....
