Dave Bickler ... New Solo Album

Postby survivorfan2005 » Fri Aug 11, 2006 2:50 pm

I have heard numerous rumors from around the net about Dave having a solo album in the works set for a christmas release. There is a statement about this here saying "Dave Bickler has a new solo album in the works." Has anyone heard of this information?

Also, Dave had a (non-survivor (although FS was on there) album released in 96 called Jillian
The only thing I know about this album is this

Track 4 duet with Jillian and Dave Bickler
Track 10 duet with Jillian and Frankie Sullivan

Album produced by Jim Peterik and Frankie Sullivan

Frankie Sullivan plays guitar
Jim Peterik plays Keyboards and Backing Vocals

Track 1,4,5 and 10 written by Jillian and Jim Peterik
Track 2 and 8 written by Jillian, Jim Peterik and Frankie Sullivan
Track 6 written by Jim Peterik
Track 9 written by John Garnache and Jim Peterik

I was wandering if anyone has heard of this album and if so, what do you think of
it?

I've understood that Jillian is/was Bickler's wife and she presents some kinda christian rock/pop. A new Bickler album with unreleased songs from Fire Makes Steel would rule.

Don't count on it.....before Christmas. I have seen many bands from the 80's hope to get cds out before christmas and what usually happens is that there is such a rush of artists trying to release stuff. The record companies try to release the more popular artists cds before the holiday's. People like Dave usually have to wait til at least February before their cds are release.....I think releasing a cd is something Dave has not done in a long time.......he will find this out.

I'm not sure what your link proves. Anyway, if she was, it's the first I heard of it.

I think the poster was assuming that because it said "Jillian and Dave Bickler" that must mean they were married. However, it also says "Jillian and Frankie Sullivan" and we know she wasn't married to him, right? Obviously Jillian goes by ONE name.

Is this proof enough for silvergirl66: http://www.heavyharmonies.com/cgi-bin/g ... me=Jillian

In case this is the link where I did found out that Jillian is Bickler's wife and the christianity of her music.

that prooves absolutely nothing. I have the Jillian tape, it's not bad and I like the duo between Dave and Jillian. Dave was married at one time, but I don't believe ever to Jillian. I need better proof.

I have the Jilian album mentioned in earlier posts. It's not bad, sort of Christian Rock bent to it. I haven't listened in quite a while, though.
