Robin still in

In another thread there was spekulation if Robin was still Survivor since nothing is said about the group on Robin's my space account.
Got this from Survivors site

12/31/06 - New Year Wishes

Hello Survivor fans everywhere
it's been quite a year in more ways than one. The War in Iraq continues to rage and the entire world we live in is becoming more and more unstable. Makes you wonder why we are so jubliant to bring in another year at all. But we do and we will because the spirit in each decent person prays that we will eventually overcome these problems and build a better future for ourselves and our children. So much more can be said and so many different opinions can be expressed but for now and in this moment, we wish you and your families a Peaceful and Blessed 2007.
Be good to each other and be thankful.
God Bless You All and we look forward to seeing you very soon.
Have a Safe and Happy New Year
Robin

-- Robin McAuley

So he is posting on the site. So I would say he is still in. Maybe a new cd soon.

Also Survivor is suppose to be playing here in my town, looked on Survivor site. Nothing about my town in tour, nothing period.
Looks like in may be Jimi using the Survivor name :( . Still trying to find out-ERIC

Wow, he sounds like a doom and gloom kinda guy. Don't see how any of this has to do with Survivor...I know it is on the Survivor site, but Robin talk Survivor please!

Of course he mentions Survivor on his profile.... Not to mention in his pics.. I don't know where people got this rumor from. You can check it out yourself at

"....July O6' I became the new singer for “SURVIVOR”. I'm having a great time meeting new people and Survivor fans of which there are soo many. This came completely out of the blue which just goes to show, it's never over 'til it's over."

Sometimes I believe some fans WANT him out. It's akward really, first some fans said that JJ was doing awful in the survivor shows at the end and they want him out, but when he finally is out, they want him back in...

I think it is all understandable. I don't recall people saying they wanted Jimi out of the band. But what people want are the people that ahve a nice recording history with Survivor. People would rather have Dave Bickler or Jim singing with Surivor. They would like to have Jim Peterik back in the band. Even woudl like to see Steve Ellis in the band. Anyone who was in Surviuvor when they were making hits. it is that simple. people may of complained some about Jimi doesn't necessarily mean they wanted him out. Robin from what I hear sounds nothing like Jimi or Dave. it was funny though when Jimi replaced Dave and sang Eye of the Tiger no one knew the difference. Robin's voice is much different that Dave or Jimi's.

I know I may be the only one on here but I like Robin's voice and I'm looking forward to hearing the new stuff. I love both Dave and Jimi too. Change isn't necessarily always bad. I've heard a bootleg of Robins first performance with the band and I liked it. Maybe we should wait for the new stuff before we start passing judgment

Yeah, I also love Robs vocals. It reminds me of the old 80s glam rock. I think it gives Survivor the edge that it takes to make it today in the rock world. Not to mention, he is a nice guy and the band looks like their having a blast like they did back then. Incase you guys havn't seen this, It's one of my favorite songs by Robin. Just think of Frankie playing this guitar work... Also, check out some of his other vides (mostly heavy metal)
