Dates on PollStar

Postby Lark » Fri Jan 19, 2007 3:35 am

New show dates are posted on Pollstar. The gigs in Georgia have been there a while but new ones toward the end of 2007 are scheduled.

Last year, in the wake of the JJ/FS drama, a lot of shows were cancelled. I wonder how that affects Promotors taking a chance on them this year. Any thoughts?

As many county fairs in the US, they should stay busy all summer into the fall! I think the guys should get together and declare Mutiny an kick FS out!!!!!!!

Last summer I wanted to go see them at Taste of Blue Ash. So I googled and found out Jimi left a few months earlier and has his own band. Has anything changed?

Rumor has it around the campfire here that Survivor will be coming to Sioux Falls with Great White for a show. I've never seen Survivor, so I'm pretty excited!

Red13JoePa, you have a great sense of humor, kind of sarcastic like mine, I am sure it is not always appreciated, just like mine!

Yep, sometimes it sails right over peoples' heads but I keep at it anyway.

Compared to last year during the standoff between FS and Jimi, they have many bookings. Last summer, JJ continued to work and travel with RPM and Voices and stayed relatively busy and Survivor did not. However, if you go back to the summer before (w/Jimi) they have about the same number or just a few less than. So unless something happens in the very near future, I don't see how DWTS was a shot in the arm as far as bookings go. No, Slander, I am not being negative, just making an observation.

Twelve shows a summer and one CD every decade will wear out any band, especially the hardest-working band in the industry.

Have you really looked at their schedule? These arguments are not holding weight anymore. Then again, you folks on the board aren't about evidence. Everything on this board is about emotion.
