Is there a sure fire way to take something from You Tube and put it on DVD?

yeah, the best way is to go here and download the video (rename files to include the .flv extension) after it downloads then encode the video with a video converter such as cinemaforge or riva video encoder into an mpg and then put the mpg on to a dvd.
