My suspicions however have been confirmed. I have never like McAuley, and i am certainly not liking these at all. Get back Bickler or better still, Jamo and very quickly. The mans vocal is just not suited to this band.

I am not liking McAuley's vocals at all. It sounds like Great White doing Survivor. Just brutal. If the band are trying to sell tickets for a future tour by releasing these 'cover tunes', they are in for a rude awakening...

Ouch.

Glad to see the band still moving forward, but the new vocalist, for me, just does not work.

are you guys kidding? These songs are the best I've heard of Survivor in a long time.. Of course it takes some getting used to because most are used to hearing jj or bickler..
Robin is truly a breath of fresh air and will satisfy those critics who said that "Reach" had too many ballads, with Robin the band will rock harder and draw a larger fanbase.

Well remember one of JJ's complaints on his way out the door was that Reach was to ballady and the band didn't rock out enogh now.

JMO but I think they are going to have to rock out alot more and get more grittier if they want to be successful with Robin. His voice to me is more suited for that type of music wasn't impressed with what I heard with him doing Reach.

I like Robin's voice, really liked his tenure in MSG, fantastic singer...

...but, doesn't sound like Survivor to me.
