I just don't buy this. He just doesn't fit Survivor. Well, get ready for the boat shows with Hasselhof, Sullivan.

It does sound like Quit Riot covering Survivor....maybe they should have hired Kevin DeBrow?

Maybe they should be called the McAuley Survivor Group or MSG for short?

Maybe Stephen Ellis should come back and Round house kick Frankie Sullivan in the head...bring dave and Jp back with him and rock the f#$*ng world...yeah.....go Stephen...

It just sounds edgier. For the record I hate Jimi's version of FMS. Dave's is the best of the three.

I'm with you on that Slander...the Reach version of FMS was very, very weak....

The original was a demo and far superior...

Remember there is no evolution...just a list of creatures that Stephen Ellis allows to live...

Dave rulz, always will, but you all know how I feel about Dave:) but I don't think Robin is that bad. He is just soooooo different than Jimi and Dave that it's going to be hard for many to accept him. I don't think he did a bad job on the song and he is a good performer and front man. I like the fact you can hear the words in this video. I've been to shows of theirs from the past, Dave and JJ, when you couldn't hear the words. This video impressed me.

Silver I'll be honest I'm having a hard time with Robin's voice. Having said that I think he may be the most entertaining frontman they have had. He looks like a rock star to me. I'm looking forward to their performance on dancing with the stars. By the way love the avtar from quick and the dead.

I don't know what I think. I'll give him an A for effort. I laughed at the comment that compared them to Quiet Riot. LOL! Yeah, he's got a really different voice than Dave and Jimi, that's for sure. Good that he can carry a tune and hit all the notes, but there is something missing in the quality. Maybe I'm just partial.

Thanks for the clip!

Monty I agree that Robin's voice is different. I don't think there's any question that he is a better showman than dave or Jimi. I recently saw Jimi and he was pretty stationary. He did nothing.

I saw JJ three times since 2000 and was majorly disappointed each time. I figured 3rd times a charm but that was it for me. Robin has to be better!

When I saw JJ on the 6th he got right into the audience going up to everyone in the 1st three rows getting them to sing along, not exactly stationary to me

That's terrific Sheryl. Glad you got to see a good show. Hopefully that will be the standard from now on.

thought Jamo's was decent but Dave really slayed this one I agree....I have lived with both for a long time Robin's voice is far different , more metal n edgy and that may not suite many classic Survivor fans but thats cool some will love it some won't.

There are a few who luv JP's voice I personally hate him as a lead singer so each to there own.
I will say Robin got much better singing the Survivor songs as the shows went on.

How will they fare, only time will tell but, hopefully they will record a new album and write a few good new smokin hot rock songs and maybe do 4-5 classic FMS songs we all wanna hear?? would be nice.

Strongly disagree.
The official version on Reach has more to it both musically and vocally. On the demo it sounded like Bickler just phoned in a vocal-by-numbers.

Plus unless I'm wrong the demo did not have Droubay on drums.

To another Eyeof point, agree with the QR thing. First thing I thought when I heard the KC boot was a less metal Kevin Dubrow. Not a bad thing, either.

General have you heard Robin's Business As Usual? As you know Frankie produced. Maybe it's a preview of what the new Survivor album will sound like.
