Caught in the Game tour question

Postby AR » Wed Jun 27, 2007 6:57 am

Anyone have a sample setlist or any live recordings from this tour. I've always liked that album and am curious as to what songs on it were played live.

Thanx

Did anyone on this board catch Survivor in the Premonition, Eye of the Tiger or Caught in the Game Tours?

Anyone have set list or even tour dates?

My first chance to see them was '85 with Bryan Adams...they rocked...I can remember JP just tearing up that keyboard....and some fan yelling for Poor Man's Son....I didn't even know what that was....

I know they opened with Feels Like Love and Broken Promises and closed with Tiger...I was young, but I remember the Search is Over and First Night...Not much else...Bryan Adams was really good as well and sadly I never saw him again....

Unfortunately there was no tour in support of the fantastic album "Too Hot To Sleep". Their record label went under before the tour began and the rest is history.

Wellllllll! I liked his long hair, it looked good in that video dang it! He looked really cute! Sorry but he did! Some guys don't look good in really long hair but he did. He looks good in really short hair but I don't like the dutchboy thing he had going on, same when Dave was doing that dutchboy thing. I like dave in short hair:)

but no audience is showing in the video when I remember right. So possibly only a promotional shot.

Ok you´re possibly right with that. But they made two videos for that album (Didn´t know it was love and Across the miles). All before the tour happens?

There were no dates for the THTS record?

Because the video for DKIWL is cleary concert rehearsal footage from the Too Hot period.

They're rehearsing in an outdoor venue or stadium or something.

It´s hard to believe that there were no dates and I agree to you Red with the venue. A stadium or something like that.

The video was done in a place like a theater in an amusement park.
I saw the Tiger tour and I think I remember the setlist, just not the order. I'll ask Jim when I see him on Sunday if I'm right, remember that was 25 years ago.
They opened with Feels like Love and closed with Tiger....in between were American Heartbeat,Children of the Night,Poor Man's Son,Those I remember for sure.....I think they also did I'm Not That Man Anymore and Summer Nights. They were opening for REO on the Good Trouble tour. Again like I said,I'll ask Jim on Sunday when I see him.

I'm almost positive that I read somewhere that there was no tour in support of the album. I'll do my best to find a decent source to back up my claim.

I've seen the videos that you speak of. It's possible that the Survivor guys did what Bon Jovi did for the "Slippery When Wet" album videos and that's put on a free concert to get live video footage and then dub over the studio track for the video single (i.e. You Give Love A Bad Name).
