His voice is absolutely unreal but I can't stand the damn ballads.

You and I have disagreed in the past JOPA but man I couldn't agree with you more....ENOUGH with the ballads. Let's rock.

:D Jimi sounds awesome.. His voice is getting back into shape ! I think this new project is going to be exciting . I can't wait . The real deal for me and the sound of the Survivor I have missed is Jim Peterik and Jimi Jamison.

Sorry while the tracks sound terrific it's not Survivor without that essential Frankie Sullivan guitar. It's just JP and JJ and for now we will have to settle for that! Can we get away from the ballads though. Damn enough is enough.

Yeah, where's the rock? I want JJ rocking not reminiscing. Meanwhile, to me the REAL DEAL would always be Peterik/Sullivan/Bickler to me.

some would say it's not Survivor without the essential vox of Dave...or the essential keys and song writing of JP or on and on and on...

In all honesty, JJ with JP is as much survivor as Frankie with Robin McAuley...

Either way there is only one original member...

... there can be only one... :D

But I agree, Jamo and JP will be for me as much Survivor as Frankie with Robin are (of course without the official "Trademark").

So let´s see, what JJ/JP deliver next year and Frankie/Robin in 2070

While were being sarcastic here about Survivor releasing a new album in 2070 please let me know when JJ and JP will be touring together! Fill me in on the pollstar dates. I'm sure they will be criss-crossing the country.

Let me rephrase my opinion. The REAL DEAL would be Peterik/Sullivan/Bickler with ANY band name (they come up with). These three were magic.

I would assume Toby would need to have a good talk with JP in order to make JJ and JP work.

To make it clear Slander: I would love to hear a Survivor CD with Robin on vocals because he´s a great guy. But after all the years of promising a new CD I have doubt that we ever get the chance to hear it...

It's going to happen. Let's just be patient. I think it was a mistake talking about a new album for 2007. Just my opinion.

Toby has his hands full right now, so there is no conflict. The boy has a lot on his plate (musically and otherwise) and Jim is still working with him on a Christian release featuring Toby and his sister.

That's good to hear Andrew. I hope there is another serving of POL in our future.
