MR Frontpage: New Starship

Postby Red13JoePa » Thu Jan 31, 2008 10:41 am

Since Thomas has a bit of a Survivor connection, I want to post this here.

Here's the bit Andrew ran:

"NEW STARSHIP AVAILABLE NOW ON ITUNES:
This message posted at the official Starship MySpace: "Get Out Again is now available on iTunes. Not yet sure on a video, we will let you know if we hear of one."
I was also sent the following update today: "In related news, Mickey Thomas is currently recording at The Tone Factory Studios with Aynsley Dunbar working on a new album set to feature Danny Miranda on bass and Jake E. Lee on guitars, set for release via Direct Music."
Updates when available. WebLinks: www.mickeythomas.com / www.myspace.com/starshipmickeythomas / www.aynsleydunbar.com."

I did go to the Starship myspace and played the track: Thumbs up, it is an exciting song.
Hopefully this precedes a full album.

It's on their myspace page to listen, Daveo.

Drew has a link right to the space w/ his article.

I like Mickey and Starship, but am cuirous what connection you talk about JoePa. I saw Survivor open up for Starship, but other than that I can not think of one.

I See You In Everyone is a great song but I think the song wouldn't be nearly as strong without Thomas. Thomas imho is the hook in the song.
