Yes. Meaning I think but am not sure if these are the youtube clips. What's the problem here? I'm glad they are working for you so what's the issue?

When you post a Link with files of nearly 2 GB (total) my opinion is you should know exactly what the files include before you post...

But finally I found out that they are correct so no problem anymore. Thanks again.

Thanks very much Slander for this great video concert :D !

Today Survivor's fans are very lucky on melodicrock website.

Thanks to Andrew for his mrx update (radio show with Dave Bickler, Jimi's demos, MSG videos with Robin), and with this 1987 concert in very good quality, it's an excellent day!

Hope to find someday the 1993 Lagrange show on video

You are quite welcome! Let's hope the group puts out a current DVD. They are still fun to watch in concert. While I'm a Dave fan, Robin is by far the most energetic front man the band has ever had. He puts on a hell of a show.

Glad you like them. I appreciate the kind words. Now if we can just get the guys to put out a new dvd. I saw them in August and they sounded great. Robin's vocals take some time to get used to but man the guy is a showman.

Watching these made me feel 20 years younger...unfortunately I was watching them on a computer screen...These bands oughta realize that they could sell quite a few DVDs to their fans to be played on nice big screen TVs...so how does it work? Do the record companies own the rights or can the bands do something on their own? They may not sell millions but I'm sure there have to be over 100,000 that could be sold. Any thoughts or insights to this?????

I don't think there is any money in it for the bands. Just like there really isn't any money in cutting new records. Bands do these things to satisfy their fans. Having said that, Survivor has a very loyal fan base and it would be nice to see FS and the guys do something "special' for the most patient fans in the world. LOL.

Only somewhat agree w/ that.
There's a big market for dvds, live or video compilations. Moreso than there is for new records by our favorite bands, unfortunately. Hell the most successful post perry thing Journey's released is the Journey 2001 dvd.

Shocking! LOL. Anyway JoePa you are a good sport. No I don't think there isn't much money in either dvds or records anymore. I think if you ask artists, the money is made in performing. It's a damn shame really. Did you hear last week that Alicia Keys was number 1 on Billboard with just 61k units sold for that week! The industry is going to come crashing down.

61 K IS pathetic but I don't think Survivor would have to break the band or lose money to put out a very bare-bones dvd.

Look at Foreigner's All Access Tonight. Or even their latest one.

I agree. Red we have no disagreement here. Read my above post. I think it would be great if Survivor did something "unique" for its incredibly patient fans. All I'm saying is bands don't make money through records or dvds. Of course I want them to put out new content. I think bands focus more on dates because that's what pays the bills. I could be wrong but that's the impression I get from the musicians I have spoken to over the years. The point I was making about Alicia Keys is that album sales are toast! They are done. That is a damn shame. The concept album is dead because of downloads. So much for creativity.

Red from a philosophical standpoint I think FS would want to put out anything bare-bones. FS would want to put out something top notch or nothing at all. I for one would settle for anything even if it's on BETA lol.

barebones doesn't necassarily mean low quality.

I know FS wasn't thrilled with the barebones ghits pkg. Maybe we should start a thread. What would people want to see on the dvd. Old Videos? Concert footage? A mix of the old and new. We might get some interesting input.

Personally, I never really liked MTV videos...I would rather see the band on video either lip sync like the Solid Gold Videos or live in concert. Most concept videos were/are pretty lousy.
