Sure would be nice to have one.

I'm wondering how things are given the deafening silence. :|

Unfortunately it seems like this forum is only truly active when were all arguing on it.

It sure would be great if the band would give us some positive news to discuss on here! :D

They play in Texas this weekend I do believe. Frankie is working with JV. We get updates all the time. Robin has been doing his own thing too.

Oh.
Wait, Frankie working w/ Joe Vana and Robin doing his own thing apply how to the state of Survivor again?

Here's where they are playing tonight: http://www.borderfest.org/capital.html Is that current enough? Are you now up to date red? This is rediculous.

Why do we have to argue? Why can't we talk about positive stuff? Why couldn't we talk about Robin and Frankie's projects. For instance what do you think of Robin's band Bleed? What about Frankie's producing of Mecca 2? What about talking about what a Robin/Frankie collaboration would sound like? I mean there are a ton of topics. I just think people like to bitch for no reason.

There IS nothing positive to argue about.
They're not DOING anything (again).

I also smell a lineup change blowing in the breeze.

Do you just make this crap up as you go? Do you just like starting rumors? They're doing nothing? As I have stated FS is working on Mecca's album. Robin is doing his own stuff. They have concert date on this very night! What you smell in the breeze is the b.s. you are writing RED.

Deafening silence? JV posts on here regular about a project that FS is working on. How the hell is that deafening silence?

We'll see.

Picked a bad day to post this, I guess, as their bi-monthly show date has cropped up and detonated in my face yet again indicating this is the hardest-working band in the biz.

Joe you were the one starting this bs! Know your shit before your post. Yeah I would say this was a bad day to post. I think Frankie and Robin work hard in whatever they do. Listen RED there is nothing Survivor could ever do to please you. Quite Frankly (no pun intended) I don't blame FS or anyone else for not keeping you guys informed. Whatever Survivor does it's never enough. I wouldn't want to answer to fans who have nothing better to do than Bitch.

Okay fair enough. So why doesn't he just say so instead of going on and on about lack of tour dates etc. It's really old and boring. Haven't we heard all this crap before? I think it is outrageous to say that FS and Robin aren't working. Actually it's just stupid. Grove leaving the band would be something interesting to discuss.

it's kind of old news, Red was just having fun with you, to see if you knew about Grove.

Slander, lay off Red...

I for one - and many others - don't give a damn about Robin's side project (except for the fact he should join quite riot where he belongs). I don't give a damn about Frankie's side project either...all you do is skirt issues.

Where's the new album we were promised?
Where is a list of ALL these tour dates?
Where is anything?

Oh yeah, didn't they play on national television? My bad.

Same old crap huh Eye? Thanks for proving my point. Why is it you guys can call FS every vile name in the book but when someone calls you out you whine? Leave Red alone? He's a big boy. I will say it again: Why should FS or the band tell you guys anything? All you do is complain. I do give a damn about Mecca. I bought the first Mecca cd because JP was involved. I dig the Survivor influence. I do care about Robin and what he is doing. You can dog them all you want but they owe you no explanation.

I care and so do some other Survivor fans. As far as same old crap no one has been more critical than me about the lack of information that comes out of the band. Having said that. Here's an idea. What a concept too! It's called GOOGLE.

Go to pollstar.com for tour dates. Keep in mind though that doesn't include private parties etc.

Mecca is a production partnership for Frankie....as far as Survivor album's, and tour dates that is public knowledge the amount and dates of release on that....

I totally realize that the amount of hard ticket dates and releases is not up to what you guys want.....I just think that it will never happen at a more brisk pace just because it is discussed here....almost a moot point overall.....
