Quite Riot - Any progress with Robin?

Postby Eyeof » Wed Mar 05, 2008 4:10 am

Does anyone know if there has been any progress on Robin's tryout with Quite Riot?

I do think he's a natural for the job...

McCumOnFeelTheNoize and QR is a natural fit.

Franklin should just put him on indefinate "loan" to Banalli, get Bickler, Jamo, Stephan and Peterik back and then recuse himself in favor of Kyle Woodring.

Didn't Banalli said he quits QR because without Kevin it's not anymore the same? But I agree, Robin would fit 100%.

Yes, QR is officially defunct. But ya never know...they tried it once before without Kevin. It took Marilyn Manson to get them back together!!

You're right about this.
I looked it up.
I mention it only b/c I think I shot you down on this point before months back but you're right. Even though Banalli's basically been the "keeper" of QR forever, even in McCauley I mean Dubrow's absence, it was McCauley I mean Dubrow who founded the band.

You think Sullivan would be a good fit for the band as well...

Frankie Banali is the drummer. Carlos Carvazo replaced Randy Rhodes.

Oh it's good stuff, although a little 'faceless' IMO. I just didn't hear any of it when I saw the band several years ago.

I DO dig the Shortino-fronted self-titled QR album.

The Joker, Stay With Me Tonight, Calling The Shots...good shit.
