Survivor videos question

Postby Journey/Survivor » Sun Mar 23, 2008 4:37 pm

Not counting the videos that are on the Survivor video collection, how many other videos have Survivor done for their songs?

I've known for over 20 years now that there is a video for "The Moment Of Truth," but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Survivor had done a video for "Children Of the Night."

Do any of you know of any other song videos Survivor have made over the years?

If any of you have never seen the videos for TMOT and COTN, you can check them out on Youtube.

American Heartbeat had a video too.It didnt feature the band though it just featured footage of famous places in the USA.Unfortunately no more, the COTN was filmed on the set of the EOTT video.

Thanks.

I thought that I had heard that there was a video for American Heartbeat, but I've never seen it. Yeah, it stood out immediately that the COTN video used the same set as the video for EOTT.

American Heartbeat was the second single from the EOTT album, and The One That Really Matters was the third single from the album, so I'm surprised that they made a video for COTN but not for TOTRM. That's cool with me though, because COTN is one of my favorite Survivor songs.

It's hard to believe as bad at the Eye of the Tiger video set is, that someone actually thought it would be a good idea to make two on that set...

I've said before, I think the band (FS) made a HUGE mistake not making a Rocky III clip filled/mixed with the band (like Rocky IV/Burning Heart) for Tiger. That video would have been huge as big as that movie was....How many people would have seen the band, Dave and the beret...

I really think that was a critical mistake, but that's easy for me to say today. It's not like in '82 they knew exactly how big MTV was, but still....

I didn't even see the Eye video until years later...

I think it is. I'm not wild about the EOTT video but for some reason, I like Children of the nIght video shot same day.
