Bickler, Jamison, Peterik: Could Sullivan Face Them?

Postby Red13JoePa » Thu Apr 24, 2008 1:01 am

Just wondering, is there any shot in hell frankie could look any or all of the above 3 in the eye?

Could he ever bring himself to sit down alone in a room with any or all of them?

I say no.

Would they all love to throttle him?

I say yes.

FS owes them nothing. They are all grown men. Dave is successful. JJ is an aor legend. JP is a songwriting legend, right? Once again Red you act like the three mentioned need high chairs instead of microphones. I give Dave, JJ, and JP a lot more credit than you do.

No.
Eyes in the back of their head would seem to be far more useful.

I think fs would sooner follow through on the promise he made to have the next Survivor album ready to deliver this year then face ANY of those 3 guys.

I don't pretend to be "in the know," Joe Vana.

I Just draw educated inferences from observances of what takes place.

I realize, though, that you and slander feel it's "a crime" to hold the trademark owner, brand owner, responsible for what has gone on to make Bickler, Jamison, and Peterik in my eyes want to wrap his fretboard around his neck.

Well, I'm not in the know by any means....

I guess we know that JJ has quite a bit of disdain for FS, because we read that.

I don't know why dave would be mad at FS. Well, other than getting fired from the band and having to read aout it on this website...

Not sure about JP...

Actually, I got the impression from Red's post that FS was the one who needed the highchair...

I don't know, Jamison certainly said his peace.

He has no fear apparently of calling a spade a spade.

Andrew J McNiece has stated that Bickler was disgusted with how his second pink slip was handed down. Que the veiled attacks at Andrew's journalistic intergrity and professionalism now

Red you must live for this garbabe. Isn't this old territory? I give JP, JJ, and DB credit for being businessmen. They are all smart guys and not victims. I will give them more credit than you do for both their talents and their smarts. By the way why even start this thread? Why? What's the point? By the way i will question anything I want to. I had a disagreement with Andrew once. I'm entitled. Get over it.

While I don't they FS and JP are best buds I do think they have a great deal of respect for one another. They are forever connceted. Nothing will change that. No doubt both are gentlemen and have a mutual respect for another. RED I doubt the two would throw down! Both men are class even if they have disagreements.

"New band?" Are you fucking serious?!?! This is karaoke at its finest...with zero originality. A bunch of stumble-bums and their bi-polar leader parading around aimlessly and popping up at local carnivals so "carnies" can rock out to Eye Of The Tiger while they operate the Tilt-A-Whirl. Survivor has less "vital signs" right now than Terry Schiavo in her waning days. Survivor has 11 booked shows this year. Menudo has fucking more than that I'd bet. A certain someone needs to start sniffing common sense rather than piles of blow. This band is done...dunzo. You will never hear new music with McCantsing...ever. Relative to their vocal back catalog, it's like replacing Mike Schmidt with Pedro Feliz. This lineup blows and management knows it. Minus Peterik and Jamison this band is about as talented as a one-legged man in ass kicking contest. This lineup couldn't play Melodicrock Fest II.

JJ was never Mike Schmidt. Please let me know when JJ makes the hall of fame. The band has a lot of talent and MR2 would be damn lucky to have them take the stage.

Slander, good God, dude.

Jamo is THE VOICE that made Survivor. No-one in the general populace can name one Dave song this side of Eye.

Yep. JJ made Survivor... a pop band

Seriously though, JP and FS made Survivor. They -the band (well atleast JP) chose JJ not the other way around. THE VOICE needed to audition first.

It’s funny how the same conversations happen over and over again on this site. Slander, It’s the Singer Not the Song. Honestly, why do you think when JJ toured as Survivor more people go than when JJ is not the singer? The singer is very very important. You may argue that FS is more important. Survivor has become a touring band and a touring band only. Their latest studio album could not even get released in the USA. That studio cd came after how many years? Sure FS is the main song writer but without new studio recordings I hate to tell you JJ is more important. I can tell you I know some people that saw Survivor with Robin on vocals and believe me they were very disappointed to here a new voice. I doubt those same people would even notice of Frankie were there.

I think Frankie is very important. Survivor should have him. But those that have loved this band want to see more than the Frankie Sullivan Band. But in the end I guess the Frankie Sullivan Band is better than nothing. It is too bad because the Frankie Sullivan Band is not only hurting ‘Survivor’ it is hurting Jimi and the others. Seriously do you think the general people go see ‘Jimi Jamison’? No, because most people do not know the lead singer of Survivor was named Jimi Jamison. Do people go see World Stage? No, because people don’t know Peterik wrote most of Survivors tunes. Do people see Dave Bickler? No, because he is not allowed to be called the Real Man of Genius. And do people see Survivor? Not really, because those that research things know this is not the same Survivor they loved. Everyone is hurt by this including the loyal and casual fans. I would not be so defensive about JoePa’s comments.
