Does any know stuff that was written by Frankie. I mean, JP has a lot of songs written only by himself, would be nice to hear a couple of songs which
Frankie has written alone..Joe Vana?

Alone??

Why??

Songwriting is a unique animal, and MOST do it better as a team....JP's work is almost all co-writes as he is an amazing collaborator......FS is a great collaborator as well....

I am missing the point of why alone is an interest.....

Just wondering..........JV

Unless I am wrong, all of our GREAT songs pre Reach included at LEAST the battery of Sullivan/Peterik.

...it is no attack on FS. I just would like to hear a few songs which he interpreted self. Songs which shows his style of
writting. Jim Peterik did the "Above the storm" Album which is very personaly. Some work like this i would like to
hear from Frankie, that would be nice.

I understand "Destiny".....no problem.....as far as Above the Storm I recieved a free copy, I listened through about half of it and never returned to it...if anything it is a huge big red light that JP should write with FS...I think the world of JP, but I did not care for that album at all.....very "in the box".....and to be honest I don't think he will like Mecca II as it is very "out of the box".....it's all just opinion and personal taste....I know a few people who dig that album.....so go figure.....

No. His role is on the production front.....Tommy Denander and I wrote 9 songs together and Christian Wolff and I wrote 3.....

A HUGE departure from what's "normal"....Huge choruses, solos....but the verses are eclectic, and are all about groove....the lyrics are deep and at times may be too deep....time will tell......

I´m sure it will be great stuff Joe in germany you have one buyer for sure in me :) In this moment I listen to the "Ambition"Album where you made the additional vocals on "waiting in my dreams".Some great songs on it. I like Thom Grifins voice, got a great harmony..good choice in him..

JV i have to agree on the JP "Above the Storm."

I really wanted to love it, but it's hard to really even like.

I'm actually not as huge a fan of POL as many are...

different taste i suppose...

Long time ago Frankie had two Songs on his website. "Loving you Blue" and "Lies". I suppose he wrote those songs by himself. Both are Blues Songs and very good, but had nothing to do with the Survivor style.

The Survivor version of Lies appears on the FMS bootleg and they played it live with Bickler, I have a '99 recording.

Unless I am wrong, Lies and it's bluesy vein which I LOVE is one of the things that made JP roll.

So my guess is that IS a Frankie only writing credit.
