The band is on FOX and Friends! Great band! Terrible show but well watched by neo-cons.

Hollywood where did you find the info? I went to the website and it is 80's week on FOX and Friends so it does make sense.

Holy crap, don't go within a 7-foot radius of Slander right now unless you're equiped witha blacklite to monitor what you're stepping in. THE BAND MIGHT HAVE BEEN ON TV AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is fantastic news if true. It's a great when any member of the Survivor family present or past gets this kind of exposure. National tv once again! You have to love it. Let's credit FS, Robin and the boys for a job well done if this is true. This is a time for the whole message board to celebrate.

I love how you routinely BASH Fox on here but this is the greatest thing ever.

Slander:hypocrite::Frankie:guitarist

It's only a cause celebre if they CAPITALIZE on it now. They capitalized on the lip synching of DWTS by having Droubay, Grove, and McRobin going right back to day jobs teaching music to kids or computer programming.

I hate FOX but recognize the network provides great exposure. Guy I think FOX sux having said that it's national television. Get a grip Red. There's nothing hypocritical about my comments at all.

You guys call yourself fans. The guys get a spot on national tv and you here crickets chirping on this board. Don't call yourself a fan unless you really are. Yup I'm calling you out.

Does the show is in New York ??

Because survivor is sopposed to play at Elmwood Park Festival / Freedom Festival, Elmwood, IL US

If the show is in New York, it's impossible for the band to be there and go back to Illinois on afternoon and be ready to play... well I think...

I thought about that too falcon. Maybe they taped something. Then again they are playing at 7am in the morning right? What time is the show in Illionis?

Irwin I'm hoping someone will post this to youtube for you. Irwin try this link http://www.foxnews.com/foxfriends/index.html
after the gig tomorrow. They have videos on their from the Smithereens and Coin Hay who did the show earlier this week.

I am a huge Smithereens fan and have had the lead singer play my house before. His house concerts are amazing and well worth the money. If your interested check him out. Pat Dinizio.com.

Anyway he told me that he was going to be on the show on Tuesday morning and I TIVO'd it. They promo'd the remaining artists for the week. Shannon???? Wednesday, SURVIVOR Thursday, and The Romantics Friday. My TIVO also has Survivor listed in the program description for Thursday just like it had Colin Hay and the Smithereens so it is for real.

I have no problem with Fox news when they are doing news. They OP-ed people are the ones that kill me. Everyone is a party line Republican except Colmes who's a spineless idiot and just adds more credence to the Republican slant. The have right wing bomb throwers on all the time, but refuse people like Al Franken and Michael Moore and a host of others because they are too left. You can't have it both ways. As I said I'm conservative, but being party line anything is counter-productive. We need these networks to put all view points out there with responsible and credible guests and be the neutral party. They can't and won't.

The other shows were filmed outside the studio in NYC. The Smithereens had rented gear so Survivor would only have to transport themselves back to Ill, and it's 7am over at 9am. Not ideal for Robin's voice, but maybe some other group is calling themselves Survivor and we can have another turf war.

yeah, Maybe Survivor will go back in afternoon after the show for the concert in Illinois

Maybe it will be Jimi Jamison's Survivor :)

hehe

By the way, I'm going to the Jimi Jamison concert on november 21 in Boston,MA
Drivin' about 6 hours from Montreal, QC

The distance is not a problem as I already went to time to see Survivor last year at East Providence,MA and to see a Canadiens/Boston in the playoffs (Go Habs Go!! heheh)
But I hope it will be a great setlist and not a pre-show for 30min

Hey guys, another thing, does someone will record soon a complete Survivor show? the last one "easely avalaible" was the one from Orlando,Fl 2006 and Kansas City 2006.

Thanks!

But it's not. Time to move on like both JP and Dave have quite successfully.

Your comment is ridiculous, Slander. You can be a fan of the old line-up and don't have to like the current line-up. Red is a big fan and if he don't like McRobin that's ok for me.

Oh I'm sure it is. Further evidence you are fans of the "old band" and can't even say anything positive when something nice happens to the "new" band. Pathetic.

It's always funny to see how do you put people into drawers. Everybody who's not following your opinion is a JJ Fan and a Frankie hater....

Funny, really funny. Is that your independant journalism? Just curious...

Part of being a journalist is observation. How many how many of you ever have good things to say about FS here? Not many. You all do your damndest it seems to tear the new Survivor down. Am I wrong? This tv event is another example. A great opportunity for the band. Instead of being celebrated it seems to be played down. If this were JJ or JP you guys would be calling out from the highest mountain.

So no one saw the show? this "great opportunity" appears to be a case of "If a tree falls in the woods and nobody hears it, does it make a sound?"

Glad the band did some form of TV appearance but I question any band who appears on any sort of show with "affiliations" to particular groups. It is dangerous to align ourself one way or the other. And really, that is so NOT rock 'n' roll! ;) Does anyone know how big the viewing audience for Fox & Friends is?

Yup I knew it... You have to diss. You can't be positive. Damn you guys bag all you want. Listen I saw Daughtry on God Morning America. I've seen Coldplay on Today. Are those shows exactly rock n' roll? FOX AND FRIENDS does quite well for a cable morning show. Guy I used to work for FOX NEWS CORP. I'm a lib. I hate FOX News Channel but give me a break about the affiliations! You are being naive.
