Nice article....well written and incorporates a lot of info. That being said there are some incorrect facts in it. For example.....Chris Grove isn't in the band and hasn't been for months. No biggie really because these writers only go off of the promo packs that are sent via the band and it's management. BUT, you would think that the band would've updated that info. Kinda goes to Slander's complaint about lack of info from the band.
And I'm sure that the comment about touring all over N. America and the world can also be attributed to that lack of info/promo pack. We all know that the band doesn't really tour anymore. Yes, they play a handful of dates each year, but I don't consider that a TOUR. Heck if that is a tour then Peterik also "tours" each year and the only members or former members of Survivor who've played overseas recently would be Jim and Jimi.

That aside... still a nice article.

On an unrelated note..... Saw Jim on Wed July 30th at a show they did and Jimi was there. They did 2 songs together. Tiger and Search. Sounded good Jimi was in town to finish up stuff for his new solo record. Jim said that they had a couple of small things to finish, then the record would be in the can and headed to Frontiers for the final stages. Release date is in November.

A decent article but hasn't Chris been out longer than this article? And i got a little jumbled by mentioning Robin taking over for Jimi when it hadn't mentioned Jimi coming in for Dave.

I think Chris left for Eddie Money back in March. Does that sound right?

Yes, Bensenville......they(the town) has a music in the park every summer. They do it on Wed nights from june til august and The Ides of March have now done it for 5 years running.
It's a free show and they usually draw well. This year was no exception....it's hard to put numbers to the attendance, but I'd say they put about 800-1,000 people into what is a square block "field". Like I said though...it's really hard to tell how many are there.
