That was pretty good. I enjoyed it. PoL version is better but still interesting to hear. On the subject of stripped down songs, does anyone know if JP has a recorded/streaming version of Is This Love acoustic that he performed on some interview that Andrew linked here a while ago? That was a great interpretation

It is amazing to me how much he doesn't sound like Jimi Jamison on that cut. Jimi's voice changes a lot . Some of these demo songs his voice is weak and hoarse and others he sounds just like he did in his heyday.. The new songs are great ..

I love the live version POL did on their cd from Beligum.

I think it has alot to do with who is running the pro-tools and engineering, and producing.....all the live stuff I have seen over the past two years is no where near as strong as the JJ album I have heard....the dude is almost 60, let them tune and melodyne away, his tone is still there which is all that matters to me.....I hope at 60 I can still sing half as well.....
