I'm a little Teapot

Did anyone watch Dave Bickler on VH1 this week. He was on the Top 100 Greatest Rock songs. Eye of the Tiger came in around 62 or so (can't remember the exact number but it was in the 60s). Besides commenting on that song he commented on many. They billed him as from Survivor (oops). During Grand Funks American Band, he commented they were a faceless band just like Survivor (joking though). They had a good little history on Survivor during their clip. I guess there was bad blood between him and the band during his vocal injury. No mention of Frankie or Peterik in the clip but they brought up Jamison replaced him. They showed him singing "I'm a little Teapot" to a bunch of pre-schoolers which is what he does now. They had that in all the episodes' openings too. I liked it though.

Alright...GO DAVE!

It ain't much on the news front, but we'll take it.

So how long before Frankie sues VH1 for mentioning 'his' bands name or playing his song?

Dave's The MAN! Survivor has a grammy (whether one like's that trophy or not is besides the point) because of Dave. Frankie would do well to not rock that boat by voicing anything that Dave is involved in especially VH1 which keeps people interested in the bands we remember. 8)

Regarding the nodes operation, Dave's condition was a whammy to the band, surely there would be some sort of reprecussion. I remember JP did say it really caused a lot of heartache for them considering Survivor were under contract obligations. Needed a singer and FAST. Geez, regardless it was a twist of fate. More hits and more sales with Jimi.
