Okay, so it's off topic, but I love Concert DVD's and Videos...Well, it's not completely off topic as Survivor does have one...You just can't seem to get a real copy...anyways....
What are your top 5 all time? And I don't mean the best quality etc...what five (non boot) concert videos gave you the most enjoyment?
5. Eric Clapton - Unplugged
The comeback of Slowhand. Although the version in Canada included "The Circus Left Town", which I really enjoyed. But this performance launched a genre and contained such passion of loss.
4. Jimmy Buffett - Live By The Bay
Come on it's the 80's man and what could be better than Don Johnson introucing Buffett for an all out drunk fest party in the bay in Miami!
3. Motley Crue - Carnival of Sins
Great DVD and it captures the concert very well. It's like being there. Over three hours of Motley can't be a bad thing!
2. Eric Clapton - 24 Nights
Simply put wow. Just watch the clip of Wonderful Tonight. This is a great concert DVD. EPIC!
1. Van Halen - Live Without A Net
I wore this VHS tape completley out, from front to back. Long before you could 'rip' off a dvd, I hooked up the stereo to the TV, made a cassette for the walkman and wore that baby out as well. I could not watch it enough. From the front to the back. It made me a huge, huge, huge fan of the Hagar Van Halen era, that still exist today. Go Chickenfoot.
The parts where Sammy picks up the lead guitar and Eddie plays keys, classic! I mean this had the feel of the real concert, which is what it should have...right?
By the way, I was not nearly the fan of Live: Right Here, Right Now. Who in the world came up with filming on different nights and having them change clothes. It's more like watching a damn video.
