I think he described it as the prototype for Santa Ana Winds.

One of my favourite songs from that concert (along with Pepperhead - wish there was a Survivor studio version of it although I know Ides covered it).

Hi Joe Vana,
What do you think of this old song?
Does Frankie spoke you about that old one?

I really like it...

I would not rank it high on my list of Survivor tunes....but that is one really hard list to get on.....

FS did play me a bunch of their old live stuff, this wasnt one of them I believe though.....

Joe,
Are you suggesting that live recordings of the Bickler-era (not counting the '78 show) exist out on the ether? I've always found it amazing that none of the Bickler-era concerts were even bootlegged. Would have thought there would have been a Tiger-tour show if nothing else floating around.

FS has some...and I am sure JP does too.....but again, both guys are very into the future and the present....not so into redoing the past....I think if they released that stuff you guys would dig it....but not as much as NEW material....JV

I'm sure, but I'm a bit surprised that none of it has ever been released as something like bonus tracks on re-issues of the albums. It would be cool to hear the live band back in the day, or some of the unreleased 90s Survivor tracks.

At the same time, I'm surprised that Frontiers Records hasn't released a Bickler/Peterik album yet. They have released just about everything else...

I have not been by JP's in years now.....probably 2003 or so....but he was very good at cataloging material...very very organized....FS I haven't been by his place in about a year....

I really prefer the synth based survivor stuff anyway....the JP edged material....I can tell a JP tune within 4 bars, and it rarely disappoints...
