My guess of where it comes out, just like Reach.

I HOPE they get it into FYEs and Best Buys and Wal Marts but am not optimistic.

I hear you RED. I remember a few months ago, don't quote me, but I remember FS talkin' about striking a vintage t-shirt deal with WALMART. Who knows. Not going to speculate. I agree I hope it get released in the states. Good to see you posting again. Good to see activity on the board PERIOD!

Walmart has worked BIGtime for Journey and Foreigner. I believe even REO had success.
If Survivor had a chance to go with them, I think it'd be a good move.

I'd be extremely surprised if Walmart would sign Survivor at this stage, but stranger things have happened.

Frontiers Records (who released Reach), or something similar, would be much more likely.

Who knows. Loverboy did WALMART too. Regardless, I don't really care about the label, just the new tunes! At some point, I thought Rock Candy had been mentioned months ago.

You know, to this day, I never could find Just Getting Started in ANY WalMart store I looked in, either in PA when I was in college or back here at home in Cleveland.

I got mine at WALMART, of course the store was just an hour from Vancouver, BC where the boys are from.

It's a shame - it's a HELL of a CD. Far better than the Journey, Foreigner, and REO WallyWorld efforts. Great rockin music, 10 straight songs, pure hooks/catches. Mike Reno knocked it out of the park.

Last sunday man :(

Terrible shame ... sudden heart attack. He was only 58, and a young one by the looks of him. He looked in good shape and all, but alas, heart disease doesn't discriminate... I know that from my family experiences.

He was an awesome player. He was great on guitar on all the Live At Daryl's House segments and the 2008 H&O Live at the Troubador DVD. His bass playing speaks for itself, of course. More importantly, I could just tell by the way they enjoyed themselves in the Live at Daryl's House segments that he was a great guy and a true lover of music. Huge loss for the music world. Daryl and John must be devastated.

I talked to Mike Reno about the record in 2008. He was very proud of it. It would have been a monster cd if released in 1986. They stayed true to their sound yet the record sounded current.

Without a doubt - I still CONSTANTLY play it in its entirety. That's not true for me of many modern-day AOR releases, save Journey's Arrival.

Wow you and I must have the same taste. Arrival is my favorite record of the last decade! Saw Journey on that tour. Great show. Arrival has so many great songs and the hooks are killer. Totally underrated!

Definitely man - Styx's Cyclorama is pretty close for me too, that was a great album with some killer songs, even though DDY was gone. All other albums from AOR bands besides these 3 have been anywhere from decent to very good (Toto's FIB comes to mind), but none have kept me coming back again and again like Arrival, JGS, and probably Cyclorama. REO, Foreigner, Survivor, and Journey efforts since then have had a few bright spots, but were far too inconsistent and didn't stand the test of time.

The new Foreigner is outstanding. Another example of updating the sound but not losing the essence of what is the group! Kelly is awesome on this album. I was such a huge fan of Lou too.

Kelly kicks ass man, but the new Foreigner record was too slow for me. I loved the title track, "In Pieces" and "When it Comes to Love," but outside of those three, I haven't really found many other songs endearing long-term and the album hasn't even been around that long yet. I was hoping for more rock since Kelly's a dyed-in-the-wool rocker.

I have Inside Info at #2 or 3 in the Foreigner cannon. Haven't placed Can;t Slow Down yet, mind you but Inside Info is underrated. I even like both ballads and that's rare for me. 1-10 it is a fantastic record.
As I recall Lou is actually a big detractor of this album but I don;t get it. Mick Jones' Gibson is on fire too.

I prefer Agent Provocateur but Inside Information has got Counting Every Minute which is one of my fav. Foreigner tunes. I just love the obscure stuff. Case in point in AP my fav. is Reaction To Action.

Unbelievable song. The staccatto guitars and lead vox are amazing.

Word! I'd like to add that the even when the proceedings start off with that thumping drum and heavy guitar, coupled with the cool intro "Check, one, one one", I'm sold! I may give the tune equal footing to Survivor's Take You On A Saturday.

"There's only one rule in this game we're gonna play, And that's reaction to action"
"So hold on tight, when Im making my move...Take you on Saturday love you until Monday morning "

According to Frankie, the first tune up is called "How Do You Feel", and that sets the stage for the rest of the album. Looks like FS has confidence it’s all “Killers and no fillers”. Sounds real promising, but the proof is in the pudding. Let’s hope the vibe stays true.
