I know ITunes is something that people love or hate...there is no space between.
But I love ITunes and it is the best way to bring the music fast and cheap to the people.
I don´t think he will not release a CD. This song will more be appetizer....

I hate Itunes but only because I came up with the concept back in college in a Marketing class in the mid-90's. I could cry. :cry:

No...it is supposed to be a instrumental tune dedicated to a close friend of mine that I hooked FS up with about a year and a half ago...he passed 3 months ago....

He is the one who looked for a Sullivan tune when Survivor fans were promiesed about 2 months ago that a deal was cut and a release soon.

Now there is word of what appears to be a random "Sullivan (?

Release soon??? FS said that??? Don't they need to record a full album before they release one??? Is a FULL album recorded?? I have no idea!!
Does anybody know??? It was brought to my attention by another fan that I guess on two or three different occasions over the years on Survivors site a new album was about to be finished, but none of those ever came out....I hope this is not one of those

It hasn't been that long since Survivor's last album and it hasn't been that long since Survivor's board said the album is coming. Frankie has posted on occasion that it's coming along. I'm eager but not feeling mislead or anything yet. Let's give them time to finish it and release it when it's ready and not before. We've waited MUCH longer between Survivor albums in the past and I expect we'll hear good news soon enough.

I don´t understand much about recording a album but you should not make such a statement if you are can´t keep them. The Survivor Fan Comminity is battered enough over the last years.

With the advent of the internet and its ability to hand out instant news and info, we've become insanely impatient. It has also created an environment where artists are pressured to update us constantly on their every move.

Can you imagine if your boss came into your office every day, five times a day, and asked you how things are going on a project that you expect to take 6-12 months? That's what its got to be like for artists except worse - it's done publicly.

BTW, Frankie, when can we expect the album?

Frankie just informed Bryan's Song is well on the way, but first he's got to get Dickey Betts (legendary and former Allman Bros band member / Rolling Stone ranked him no. 56 on 100 greatest guitar players of all time) to play the middle solo and then it'll be off to the mix. AFTER that it's Itunes.

Interesting Frankie not doing the solo. :shock:
