AH is not one of my favorites although it did chart 17 on Billboard. Did the guys ever do this live in concert. I haven't seen it on a setlist.

Not that I know of. I doubt it, too. I wouldn't blame Frankie if he didn't want to play it live. There's no guitar in the song.

Axe I can't imagine how awesome that would be...

I'm not at all surprised they would have almost had to play it, it would have been their second biggest hit to date...

What else did they play that night? Dave wear the beret? Give us some details my man!

I guess they would have had to play AH. The song is boring. They are stronger tracks off that album. I wish they would have followed up Tiger with Ever Since The World Began. I believe The One That Really Matters was the third single.

I totally agree...TOTRM, ESTWB, INTMA and even Hesitation Dance are stronger songs, but you'd have to support your single and a hit at that...

I love INTMA but it's like a half of a song. After a really strong start, it just ends. Listen to it. After a great story, it just ends in guitar for a long friggin' time. It's like they didn't know how to finish it.

I think American Heartbeat is one of the worst songs Survivor ever recorded, personally. Never liked this song. Sounds like a Chevy Promo song.

just to remind that "the one that really matters", "Children of the night", Silver Girl, Feels Like love,Ever since the world began, Eye of tiger, those are all
incredibly good songs, so American hertbeat and hesitation dance seems like not as half a s good as those...but American heartbeat ended up doing ggod on charts, becasuse its comercial pop vibe...and doesnt have guitars

I never cared much for American Hearbeat, and then I bought CITG, and when Half-Life started, I thought to myself, "Ah, jeez, they HAD to this again?!" But fortunately, "Half-Life" turned out to be a less cheesy song overall.
