For me it's Caught In The Game.

Mine is Too Hot To Sleep. But Caught In The Game is an extremely close second on my list.

I think mine might be Eye of the Tiger and it has nothing to do with that title song...I LOVE that album....Would be tough choice with Caught in the Game though!

Or Reach! (Jk)

Vital Signs for me, although I only own the JJ Survivor albums, so I may have a biased opinion.

The only technically wrong answer would be 'Empires'...only cause it's not a real Survivor album! :D

However, once I finally got over FS's brainwash, I rather enjoyed it....I thought overall better than Reach...

Great album. Great hooks. To think it was FS & JP producing!

In my opinion a very underrated album, there are some great writes on that album, you can see the foundation of what was to become the signature song on that album. And also the seeds were planted as to the producing ability of both Jim and Frankie. And i don't think either has looked back since....definitely showed them they had what it takes to produce.

hahahahaha.....Frankie's brainwash......i actually think he was good at that in the late 90's and it kinda never stopped..........the thing about Frankie Sullivan is we admire so much the great music he helped create that we can forgive a little about the rest of the bullshit and accept some of his flaws......

PREMONITION does rule and EYEOF you are right about EMPIRES......a very very good cd but it's got NOTHING to do with the name SURVIVOR.....even with the rather bad live versions of Survivor songs they put at the end of the cd....enjoyable versions but if you compare with what JIMI can normally do.....they aren't his bests !.....

Baron, did you think Empires was better than Reach?

It's funny with you and some of the other 'back', as you recall those days. It's the reason that I just lost all faith in FS and what he says. He got on there every day, bashed JJ, praised Dave...told us big things were coming...encouraged us not to buy Empires etc.

Then one day, he fires Dave and JJ is back and we were supposed to forget all he said?

Nevermind the fact, that Dave just plain sounds better!

But you are right...he is very talented and a huge part of the sound that we all love....and probably a bigger part of the raw sound that we loved from the early days....I respect his talent for sure and to an extent his effort in those days to communicate with us (Marc as well)...my guess is he learned a big, big lesson in never say never and maybe one day someone will tell us what really went down....

hey thats one tuff question !..........EMPIRES or REACH.............just the fact i have to think about it tells you how much i apreciate both otherwise it would an easy answer.............seriously I put them on the same level..........i cant decide which one is better.....both have great and bad songs........too tuff.....hahahahaha !

Frankie's lies were just too blatant after a while......all the morality christian based posts that he was making made me wanna puke........the only thing i wanted to say to that was : PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH !.........
The returns of JJ (both actually) always happen at the end of a trial !.....i dont believe this last comeback is based on a sudden friendship between the two of them.....there's something else that i dont know but it's there........as long as they do shows and are in god health.....then who cares :-).......I don't like many people with who i work but i still have to work with them and sometimes to make a living or to make more money you do certain things that you would normally not do (ok...no im not a prostitute in case you wonder....hahahaha).....maybe the name SURVIVOR needed JJ for some reasons. :-)

I'd take "Ultimate Survivor" or "Live in Japan" with me :)

Reach was a good record, with one flaw: I had the feeling that all the songs started on great, then didn't really get anywhere. I know think that "Rhythm of the heart" is prolly the best in it.

RE-ENTRY !.....hahahahahaha !......yeah !......another one of those dreams that never came true !..........one of the funniest Frankie moment was that text he wrote when JJ left the last time....when they released REACH......he said something like : ROBIN is in bla bla bla and then '' we will release a new album !!!!! '' WHAT ?!?!?!?!?!.......it took you like 374638464 years to release REACH and you want me to believe that ROBIN comes in and you tell me you will be releasing a new album in the upcoming year (or something like that) ???? that was priceless !!!

Of course it never came true cause REACH was released in 2006 and we are in 2012 in case somebody forgot ! ....hahahaha !

anyway.......it's always the same.

ROBIN 's voice didnt fit with Survivor imo......I like him a lot.....his stuff with Schenker is very good.....he's a very good singer......but i wasn't ready for his arrival in Survivor !.......

Well, I am the one that said McAuley should be convicted and forced to register in his neighborhood for what he did to those Survivor songs! It was not personal, he was just a bad, bad, bad fit for Survivor.

Come on as far as Re-Entry! It's real! We even saw album artwork! We'll see more once the 'website overhaul' is finished!

By the way, you have to be correct. There must have to be some sort of JJ participation for there to be a Survivor, as he always comes back when the legal stuff moves forward. Also, there is no way he could have pulled off what he did with touring back in the 90's, if there was not more too it...maybe one day someone will tell us what REALLY happened.

Until then, we'll just make stuff up!

The problem is that "Re-Entry" has gotten too big to release as a single CD. Now Frankie is trying to negotiate with the record label to release it as a 4 CD set, but at the price of a single CD because he knows these are tough economic times and he cares about his fans. He's also going to include a free 100 page book that reveals the truth behind all of the Survivor rumors.
Dave sings on two of the CDs (30 songs), and JJ sings on the other two (another 30 songs). Actually, there's one track where they do a duet. JP co-wrote 40 of the 60 songs in the set. If all goes well, the set should be released around 2035, but that's tentative, and there may be additional delays.

to complete this great product....you get an extra cd of Tommy Shaw singing EVER SINCE THE WORLD BEGAN in Japanese,English,Chinese,French and Italian.
