i know what you mean(about the solo).......and since the song dates from 1977 its got a bit of that Survivor first cd feel.......the way it was taped in those days.

Yes it's got that first CD feel to it. BTW, Im learning more about Kansas. Kerry Livgren is awesome as a guitarist and songwriter.

Well, till that new Survivor album, Im enjoying some older bands stuff that Ive not heard before (or conveniently missed while growing up in the 70s :oops: sheesh).

I've always thought that parts of the solos that Neal Schon plays in Journey's songs "Signs Of Life" and "I Got A Reason" sound like something that Frankie would play. The intro to "I Got A Reason" even sounds similar to the intro of Survivor's "Didn't Know It Was Love."
