I understand where you are coming from. Mick is it, and he's missed so many shows with health issues, but having said that I really dig the sound. Kelly has really brought life to the Foreigner brand. No?

Foreigner has still been putting music out and they sound great live. You can't say either about Survivor, unfortunately. Foreigner has also brought in talented and capable musicians as replacements or substitutes when they have needed to.

IMO only recently have Survivor not been playing so well live. I saw them in July 2011, and it was still a well performed show.

Robin Mcauley is a good professional singer, he just wasn't a right fit for Survivor.

I have seen several shows with Lou Gramm with Foreigner and solo, and I have seen a few shows with Kelly in Foreigner. While Kelly is no Lou, Kelly really brings his own to the table. While he is not a Lou clone or knock off, he has own strengths that shine in the band. I have been impressed every time I have seen him.
Mic is the onlyoriginall guy left, and for an old fart he still plays his butt off.

Will add, that I miss Bonham on drums. Foreigner would always go into a Zep song too when he was with them. Again another chance for Kelly to shine.
