Ahhhh... so it's NOT Frankie's fault that they aren't releasing a new album-- he'd LOVE to be recording a new one. It's his bandmates' fault. Got it. Damn that new keyboardist!! He killed Survivor!

It's a shame the reporter didn't do some research and confront FS with some questions about the recording with Mcauley, the promise of a new album 2 years ago and so on.

No way will that happen. I wish, but no way. Sullivan is very private. At least that's what I hear. He is an amazing talent, but an enigma wrapped in riddle!

Yep, that pretty much sums him up. As much as we all mock him on these boards, I have to say that I've always really loved his guitar solos.

There's no question about it that Frankie is a great guitarist. Massively underrated! He's multi-talented.

But he doesn't see any value in Survivor.

I disagree. I think he sees the value in the band, but no value in new music. Many acts don't! I'm not agree with him mind you. I think loyal fans are owned a new tune to download at some point.

Enigma is the right word. But Im going to go out on a limb to say that, it may happen. I say it because they're coming to my hometown in two weeks time. Coming all the way to Singapore and definitely not cheap. I really wonder how FS got the financing to go with this and then if they have some financial muscle a new album is possible.

I hope to meet the band. If I get the chance let me get it from the horses mouth.
