Wow. I thought they were really popular in Asia... I hope it wasn't from lack of ticket sales. This band needs to either produce a new album or close it's doors once and for all...

Somebody died (one of FS good buddies I think). Not sure if it is connected but just a week before the gig, Mickey Thomas Starship guitarist Mark Abrahamiam passed away.

Im getting my money back though which is the good news.

I'm sorry that you're going to miss out on the show! But to be honest, I kind of expected them to cancel the show all along. I live in Cleveland, Ohio which is not really far from Chicago, and Survivor have canceled several times over the years for shows that they were supposed to play in my area. It seems that they constantly cancel shows that aren't taking place in the USA.

I'm sorry MJ. I know you are a huge fan. You and I go way back on the board. We have been two of the bands biggest fans. Taken a lot of crap on this board. I can honestly say, we've deserved a hell of a lot better. I have no friggin' clue what this band is doing. None. I think it's all about playing a handful of dates. It's all about the money money and not the music music. Aerosmith once had a song called Let the Music Doing the Talking-Survivor is mute.

I doubt Jimi will stay on indefinitely unless the machine is revved up.

Thanks Ty. I agree with you totally. Had my fill...(atleast as far as new music) Nothing takes away the joy listening to Survivor of the past though.

No apology, no mention about the show cancellation on facebook...atleast I didn't see it. Sheesh.
