posted this on the noticeboard, but there are a lot of people that don't visit there, so here seems to be appropriate.
ok, so it's obvious that the current Survivor setlist isn't exactly what most people would call optimal. So, let's see if we can reach a compromise as to what the "ideal" setlist would be under the current situation.
Rules....
1. 15 songs. I doubt they are going to be playing for more than about 90 minutes, so no 20-song marathons. We'll at least attempt to be realistic.
2. You have to get enough of the hits for the casual fan to enjoy the show.
3. You have 2 singers, so you have to use them. Let's put it at 50/50 between the two. Each one gets a roughly equal amount of songs to do lead vocals.
3a. No cheating with say, Jimi singing Caught in the Game either or Dave doing one of the JJ songs. Original singer gets to do their songs.
4. Honestly, they don't have the personnel to do the harmonies for certain songs, but we'll skip that for the purposes of this debate.
Here's my version, which is admittedly leaving out a lot of songs that I enjoy.
1. Feels Like Love
2. Caught in the Game
3. Broken Promises
4. Runway Lights
5. How Much Love
6. Rebel Girl
7. High on You
8. Summer Nights
9. Didn’t Know It Was Love
10.The Search is Over
11.Poor Man’s Son
12.I Can’t Hold Back
13.Burning Heart
ENCORE
14.Across the Miles
15.Eye of the Tiger
what say everyone else?
