Ah yes, I'd recognize Frankie Sullivan anywhere.

Does anyone think that that clown Frankie will ever get his act together?

Now, there are several reasons to be upset as a fan. I won't hide that, after Jimi's passing, I thought for some time that the band was done. Then, after several months of total blackout from the band, I started thinking that maybe this 16 months hiatus was needed and that something was in the owen for us fans. I am now once again very disappointed.

This band isn't managed. I can't think of another big band from the same time period that is so badly run.
- no new material since 2006;
- not even a DVD, of past or present performances;
- no unreleased track or demo published, except maybe for Rockin into the night on Ultimate Survivor CD collection (that was prolly 2004).
- Eye of the Tiger has never been re-released on vinyl, I think since 1985....no comment. In a time when there is a huge comeback of Lp's market....
- Gig dates scattered along the year calendar...damn, is it so hard to plan a small tour in the casinos??
- Finally, after 16 months of silence and no shows, the band plans a comeback with a new singer in...Las Vegas!!! Now, that's really missing the point of how a band should be managed

- never up-to-date website, where a countdown turns to a count-in. Pretty ridiculous

Frankie Sullivan is a fantastic guitarist, co-writer, producer, background-vocalist. He is a massively underrated talent when it comes to music. But the guy does not know how to run a band, or how to let someone who does know how to run a band take the lead. Frankie tries to run the band himself, and fails miserably at it. He really is his own worst enemy. He does everything wrong when it comes to running the band, and he pisses off almost everyone who ever works with him long term.

He really does need a manager to totally run the band. The manager should have full-control of how the band operates, and Frankie should happily go along with it.

Just think if Sullivan had sold his ownership of Survivor to Peterik back in the mid to late 1990's. With Peterik in charge of the band they would have released several albums, done well with touring, and had a good, updated website with all of the info on Survivor tours and albums.

Sadly, Frankie runs the band (into the ground) and has virtually released no new music, barely tours, is completely unreliable in every way, and pisses off all of his fellow band members and fans.

You're spot on JS. Although I am not sure Peterik would have done so much better, given the type of guy he is and his priorities.
I know you guys have been talking about it for so many years before I even joined here.
How hard can it ever be to give the fans something to be happy? I remember it was about 7 or 8 years ago, in the old message board of the official website, that Frankie was very active typing almost daily. He was asking fans what they would have preferred as a release from the band, a DVD, a cd etcetc. People were asking for t-shirts...(tees are the easiest way for band to make a profit).
At least Reach, and the possibility to actually DO that record (given by label Frontiers), was a sign of where and how the industry was moving and a huge chance to enter that round.

The count-up has finally been removed and a basic webpage is now on, with "new site coming soon" at the top, and tweets and music videos at the bottom.
