I'm glad to see that others seem to be kind of disappointed in this song.

I'm of a split mind over it. There's some decent stuff musically and lyrically but I think it is ruined by some rather gawdawful decisions with regards to the makeup of the music and that ridiculous mid-song "Tien Tien" abomination.

The cheese factor of the song might've been a little lessened if I'd heard just the audio track as opposed to the video alongside it.

I like the Pride Of Lions stuff that Peterik does, but it really doesn't compare with Survivor. Peterik really needs a Frankie Sullivan type person (Minus the asshole attitude that Sullivan has) to limit the cheese factor and to make the music Rock more.

I really wish that Peterik had gotten Bickler, Droubay and Ellis together and had recorded an album while they still had the chance. It's not too late to get together with Bickler and Droubay and make a new album. Make it sound like a Caught In The Game or Eye Of The Tiger type album.

how many bands would love to have their original singer who can sound so good
at this age? and its all wasted...such as shame. I like the message and the chorus
but that interlude part not sure what they were thinking there.

I agree with Journey/Survivor,,,,,,They are the 2 ultimate kings of cheese so you put them together with no hard rock guitarist to put some sense into this and you get a product that's not maximized.

I made the mistake of not just "listening" to it but watching the video.. Oi vey. Trying too hard to be Styx yet again.

I love Survivor, I love Styx - but I just don't care for a lot of the Peterik's stuff since - Especially Pride of Lions.

The other track that has been leaked - East of Midnight (former Peterik demo) - I really haven't gotten into it. I so wanted this to be awesome but I have a bad feeling about it.
