Yep, a simple cheeseless ballad w/ out the melodrama. Only time he sounds like Journey Steve A is the chorus..


Melodrama?? but Perry's so expressive and sings with so much emtion :wink: (I tried to find one of these faces that shows sarcasm, course I realize you may be talking about some songs overall, but I want to take it as a remark about Perry's rendering).

I feel that Steve A sounds less natural in his lower register, even back to Tall Stories days, I felt like the lower stuff almost sounded forced and the higher stuff more like himself.

It was a hard choice between "Open Arms" and "Faithfully" for my favorite. I went with "Faithfully".
