Alright, let's be honest.
Journey doesn't make squat on CD sales. They make their bank on touring. Why in the Hell are they going over to Europe, to play gas stations and movie theatres? They have NEVER been big there, even at the pinnacle of the 83 year, when they were musics' biggest name here in the USA. I don't understand the need to do this, unless they are maybe giving theur Euro fans a goodbye tour, which I think it is. They might even lose money on this.
And the whole Def leppard thing? It's going to make Journey look like a carnival band while they're over there. The fans over there aren't going to embrace them over their own beloved Def leppard.
I know some hardcore fans, one of them a BT'er, who says she probably won't go see this tour. I am not either.
However, back on topic, I think the author is right...if you are going all the way over there, might as well play every nook and cranny in that continent. I would definetely make sure I hit ireland about 23,000 times..That is easily the best part of Europe. Well, the chicks are nice in Sweden, Finland and Norway too. Actually, those Spanish girls have the nice tan look going on. Ok, so tour the shit out of the whole place.
