Well, I would share my opinion , but I'm concerned that if I do, there would be SOME here that might view my opinion as "trouble making", even though that is NOT my intentions at all, so I'll just leave it like the way I said it. :)

Me too! The people in the audience were more entertaining than the band.

You know, I have to weigh in....

You all know I have done a 180, however, I don't come in here JUST to bash the current lineup.

Just remember LOONS, if and when Perry puts out something, I and all my friends from here are going to crash your site and bash the living fuck out of his CD...just for the Hell of it.

Wow, doesn't that sound like a really classy move? No different than what you three Retards do here.

There was NO bashing of the current line up!

I was ASKED by vladan to share my opinion of the 2001 DVD. I responded politely & NIG QUESTIONED whether I had really seen the DVD, so I shared that I had watched the DVD one time & now the DVD sits on my shelf.

This just proves my point though, that you and a few others are very easily offended, when opinions are "different" than yours.

NealIsGod wrote:Another interesting part:

Cain said the follow-up to "Escape," "Frontiers," might have been an even better album, but it was dismantled at the last minute; the superb "Only the Young" and "Ask the Lonely" were removed so they could appear on the "Visionquest" and "Two of a Kind" soundtracks. Journey has considered re-releasing the album in its original state, but Cain says no one can remember the sequencing.

I like Frontiers the way it is. It doesn't need those songs.

Some of us don't have to listen to something a half dozen times to have it grow on you like you all claim "Generation's" does. Nothing since TBF has the quality that I expect from a band that calls itself Journey. Maybe someday there will be "One More For The Road", before it's too late.

Lori aka PROPERRY,

Its all good! I have my opinions and thoughts on the DVD. I try and look at it from a technical stand point. I thought the production was top-notch! excellent sound, great picture, and decent camera angles with nice close ups.

The band as a whole performed great, solid a rock. I did feel that there were around 3 songs that didn't cut the mustard vocaly, to me sounded below average. I think it just didn't work - and it frustrated me because atleast two of the three songs there are among my favourite tunes ever...

Seperate Ways - weak
Ask The Lonely - weak
Be Good To Yourself - weak

The rest were fine! thats my thoughts :) I still enjoy the DVD as a whole though. Thanks.

But what if it's a rock that sinks, guys? No hits! At least TBF and ROR had hits and we all know that a DVD from ROR would be most welcome. ROR's concerts were a crazy place to be.

I love TBF! After being gone & then getting that grammy nomination for WYLAW shows just how GREAT Journey was back then.

And I saw the ROR Tour in Dallas! Journey had to ADD a third show because the tickets "sold out so fast". It definitely ROCKED for me & the crowd was on their feet all night!!!
