Thanks for posting the link YouBetterWait. I saw it. Yes, the Perryville ladies were really really lucky, no doubt about that at all! It was very nice of the ladies to SHARE the pictures on their website, so that everyone else could benefit too from their exciting day!

And WOOOOOO, Perry looked SOOOOO HOT!!

Perry sure knows how to make his fans very happy! WOW, that was just a really exceptional thing for HIM to do for the fans!!

But, who is the Secret Service looking guy standing behind them. He looks like he's ready to pounce if there is any trouble.

Since this was planned for months, I don't think it was just an accident that he showed up. Not that this is a bad thing, but I have doubts that 'luck' had anything to do with it.

I think he looks nice and I do think it was pretty cool for him to show up, whether it was planned or not. Apparently even though Lora knew he would show, the fans didn't. How cool would it be to look up and see someone you've had a crush on for years walking right toward you?

I'm sure there'd be a few giddy guys here if Shania Twain were to pay a surprise visit somewhere. :lol:

I've NEVER stated anything bad towards Perryville EVER!!! I'm not a member there, but I still think it is a great website.

However, I do go there to see the weekly clippings they put up on their website because I do enjoy those alot! They have ALOT of cool stuff about Perry on there.

Just to clarify the "harmless story telling" I was referring to is what is posted on THEIR website ( a fictional Journey story for fun) .

I don't know anything about what you are referring to, plus vh1 was a LONNNNNG time ago, and don't remember anyone having cancer or whatever on the board.

So I'm returning back to the discussion of Perry being at the Star on May 6th.... SOOO COOL!

This is true...Her stories and private postings are legendary. Kathy from Perryville kept the story up on purpose. Also one of the reasons "Stella" got booted from that private board.

Maybe because of limited time and emotion to devote to the same old same old? I loved Cleo and miss her(the person) very much, but not her multiple shenanigans.

I commend Kathy on her accomplishment. She's worked hard for this reward for several years and deserves to finally meet the man she has paid such high homage to. Good job Kathy, it couldn't happen to a more worthy person. Steve looks fabulous and I think it was very gracious of him to be there for these devoted fans.

So Dean? Should we consider all men who don't look like Brad Pitt and all women who don't look like Angelina Jolie unworthy of being Journey fans? If so, sorry dude, you and I don't qualify, and I'm afraid their fanbase would be greatly diminished. :wink:

The same-old-same-old, to which you refer, is coming from your side, since you and your cronies have nothing to add to this board. A good discussion starts up when the board reopens, and little by little, you all creep out from behind the trees. You had your very own Perry board, but had to keep coming on the Journey board to talk about your idol.

The sad thing is, what I wrote is 100% accurate. He ruined lives and a once great band. He will have to live alone with Garfield and Heathcliffe knowing he fucked up a great band.

He didn't ruin any "Great Band." He made a band great and if they can't maintain that greatness without him, that's their problem. At least he gave them great vocals that made hits of their songs, that they can cover in their concerts.

However, the fact that the guy is the biggest asshole in our time is NOT debatable. What does it tell you that EVERYONE associated with him in Journey and even other bands CANNOT STAND him?

Of coarse Perry is the reason that Journey is not in the HOF, because without him in the band, they are not HOF material anymore. The lackluster years since the band went on without Perry, haven't helped either. You don't get in on past glory and that's all that Journey has, imo.
