Jeremey?

Dude, I know you can sing.

IF Neal and Friga decided to "make a change" which would serve EVERYONE WELL", would you accept an offer from Schon and Friga?

I am curious. YOU have been respectful and articulate through this whole thing.'

I hope you answer this, one way or another.

I for one would love you to be the singer. And no, I have NO agenda!

Thank you for opening my eyes on this matter.

I think you habve huge cojones! Thanks for being brave.

PS, Pitman, you need to wither away and disappear. You are a depressing person.

Shit, Dean...I'm hurt I wasn't included. I can sing AND play guitar. Jon doesn't have to go away from his keyboards. lol.
I AM torn between Kevin Chalfant and Hugo leading though.

Sorry Andrew  , but if they were to go on Jeremy would be my pick. Great singer and performer. I really think it's time for them to hang it up though. Let bands like Jeremy's keep the legacy alive.

JSS for me! His work with Soul Sirkus was awesome and I believe could very well give Journey a harder edge.

That's because we know that Lep already has you tagged to replace Joe when he is ready to call it quits.

Jeremey would be a good choice. I also think either Hugo or just handing the reigns over to Deen would also be a great choice.

It would be a dream for me to sit in and play through a set with Jonathan Cain and Neal Schon. Having said that, would I want to be the lead singer of Journey? Would I want to be in Augeri's shoes? Absofrickinlutely not. That would be like being thrown into the lion's den. I got enough to keep me busy right now, and who knows if I will still have a voice in 3 or 4 years? Got to make hay while the sun shines, and I'm having a pretty good time of it right now.

My preference would be if Augeri couldn't tour anymore, that they should take an indefinite break, pending the return of his pipes.

Agree, Jeremy. It's Steve Augeri's job to lose. If something happens to his voice, take a break to fix/heal what broke and then return with SA.

IF something happens to his voice? Why would they use the alledged taped vocal IF something had not happened to his voice? He will be gone after this tour. They'll spin it as he wants to take some time off and then pursue some solo stuff. They'll get a new singer and do the status quo greatest hits tour at a senior center near you.

I dusted off a couple of my old Richard Marx CD's this afternoon and i have to say that i had forgotten how great this guy actually was/is and think his voice would fit great with the Journey catelogue.

I caught him live in 1989 and 91. The firt time i saw him, just before he went into his hit "Right Here Waiting" he done an impromptu of "Open Arms" at the piano which sounded teriffic!

Just my little comment and opinion!

Wombat fine Sir......
I would never vote for you on this position.
For these three reasons....

#1. It would take you away from your family more
#2. It would probably end your mod-like-ways
#3. You found your profession, your a dynomite

I'm not saying they ARE using the taped vocal to replace Augeri. 'That's what you don't accept.

I would like to either see Steve Augeri continue providing he was really singing and which I have very little doubt that he has been a along (in other words I'm sure he is really singing live) or I wouldn't mind Steve perry back if he can still pull it off.

But if it's not going to be Augeri or Perry then I would want it to be Kevin Chalfant.

I guess you forgot the thread "Tribute Bands," where you said he and the likes of Hugo were nothing more than impersonators? Good thing you have somebody here who doesn't have one of those old forgetful menopausal minds to remind you of what you really said. You're a joke! And quite laughable actually. Keep 'em coming...
